About Me Hi, I’m Heather! I’ve been a professional cleaner for over 10 years, and I truly love what I do. Cleaning isn’t just a job for me—it’s something I take pride in. I find it therapeutic and rewarding to transform a space and leave it fresh, organized, and welcoming. My clients appreciate my reliability, attention to detail, and the care I put into every home I clean. I treat every space as if it were my own, and I always aim to go above and beyond expectations. Whether it’s a deep clean or regular upkeep, I believe a clean home brings peace of mind. Fun Fact: I actually find cleaning relaxing! There’s something satisfying about seeing instant results and knowing I’ve helped make someone’s day a little easier.

AES is a Retail, Installation & Service shop for Stoves, Fireplaces & Inserts. AES also offers Grills & Retractable Awnings.

"Rick is as dishonest as they come. After faulty installation, Rick refused to meet with me at his showroom in Camp Hill and called local PD to ask us to leave. Met with Rick and his lawyer to have properly installed pipe work. Rick did send his techs to install new chimney and stove pipe (with proper length so the 2 pipes would actually connect) after this meeting however, he continues to blame the owner rather than accept accountability. Never hire again!"

Chimney Sweep questions, answered by experts

It may require stronger cleansers or chemicals, higher-pressure spray, or scrubbing to completely remove algae from a metal roof. Start with a mild cleanser; if that doesn’t work and you're comfortable doing so, use a stronger mix of ⅓ cup of laundry detergent, 1 quart of bleach, and 3 quarts of water to gently scrub the algae with a soft-bristled brush. If algae is present across large portions of your roof, doesn’t come off with gentle scrubbing and cleansers, or is in hard-to-reach areas, this may be a job better left to a pro.

You can use a pressure washer to clean a whole host of surfaces. The exterior siding of your house is one of the most popular spots, as well as your driveway, garage floor, patio or deck, and even your outdoor furniture. Just be mindful about the amount of pressure you apply to different materials—concrete can handle a lot more than wood, for example.

Yes, moss can be dangerous for your roof if left in place to grow without treatment. The moss soaks up and holds moisture. Having a constantly damp roof could lead to problems with rot for the parts of the roof that consist of wood. Additionally, a patch of thick moss may draw insects and birds, which could damage the roof. Thick moss could block the roof’s drainage system. Water then may back up after a rainstorm and cause further damage that could eventually lead to roof repair expenses or the cost of roof replacement.

Flat roofs are a solid option for people who want extra outdoor space. Flat roofs are very common in other parts of the world and only recently has the U.S. started to see the benefit in the increased space. Flat roofs are also easier to maintain and pose much less of a safety risk, which allows for more DIY work for handy homeowners. Some people also build green or living roofs that grow plant life.

There are several ways to remove snow from your roof: using a snow rake, salting the roof with calcium chloride, using a rope (cautiously), and using heating cables. It’s important to mention that pretty, fluffy, sparkling snow weighs a great deal, and when physically removing snow from a roof, you should be aware of large snow slabs breaking off. These can weigh hundreds of pounds and are a real danger, so be extremely careful anytime you’re doing this type of work.
