"Wanted to hire and support local small business. It took almost two months to get owner to come to our home to assess the work even though he is located literally less than 2 miles from our home. When he finally showed up to do an assessment, he refused to wear a mask to enter our home. We are elderly with underlying conditions and he failed to mention he had a no mask policy, even with Covid cases on the rise. He said he would not take the job. This is totally unprofessional and we should have sought out another roofer instead of wasting two months to have a leak repaired. Total lack of concern for his customers and CDC guidelines for Covid 19."

"Someone from Planet Roof came to my parents' house to give them an estimate for a roof (shingle) replacement (1,900 sf). After spending over an hour looking around, the gentleman gave my dad an estimate for $37,000! After my dad declined, he then dropped his estimate 2 more times and said the lowest he can go is $14,000. When my dad asked why he didn't start that low, he replied "well some people will pay the $37,000". He also went on to tell my dad how this was an investment, and he wouldn't get anything lower (keep in mind my dad is a disabled senior on a fixed income). When my dad told him he already received a quote from another company for $8,500 - he was followed by questions of who was that cheap and asked why my dad would even have him come out (when every company should know that most people would/should get multiple estimates). Do NOT recommend this company!"
