"The business engages in shady billing practices. They say they mowed the lawn when the lawn did not need mowing at all. They say they did a "double cut" when the grass was barely 2 inches in height. When we complain, the staff is rude and comes across as racist. Based on our experience, we would not recommend hiring Alex's Proscape for lawn care. We will not renew our contract."

"I hired a a plumbing company in September to find a potential leak. They came and failed to do their job. They stayed for 5 minutes and told us it was the flashing on the roof. I had requested they cut the wall open and told them of a bathroom that was above, the wall was ruined already as well, so cutting open the wall wasn’t an issue. When we got the wall replaced we found a seven foot crack in the sewage pipe, that they failed to find during their 5 minute stay. I was charged $100 for the 5 minutes and left with undiscovered leak."

Adding seed to existing grass is often known as overseeding, as opposed to reseeding. Reseeding refers to the process of filling in bare or dying patches of lawn—or in some cases, full lawns—whereas reseeding supports existing lawns to prevent thinning. Whether you’re putting down fresh seed or reseeding, there are a few things to keep in mind when seeding your lawn. Be sure to choose the correct seed for your climate, seed at the right time of year, and water two to three times a day for the first week. Generally, Dudley recommends seeding in spring and fall as it is usually cooler and rainier.

While you may see some germination by simply tossing a handful of new seeds on a lawn, you'll have more success by following the proper reseeding or overseeding process step-by-step. Without properly tilling, mowing, amending the soil, and watering your lawn, the new seed could blow away or simply fail to take root.
