"Had a 8-10 week backlog due to pandemic, but finally got the work scheduled. Showed up on time. Reviewed scope of work and got to work straight away. I added several windows on back & side of house to be painted & caulked. Add-on work was rather expensive relative to initial proposal, but the windows are on upper floor. Work was good overall. On close inspection, some prep work could have been done better. One extra request to apply mullion tape to the seams of several double windows was only completed on one window, and the old tape was not completely removed, leaving the mullion seam looking poor. Skipping the other windows may have been the result of miscommunication on my part. Other work was done well. Clean-up was good."

"It all went amazingly. First, Francisco got back to me very quickly and came to give a bid very quickly. His price was very competitive and of the several bids we got he was the only one who was able and willing to do everything we needed without hemming and hawing about it. (Patching holes and doing some repair on a doorframe that rotted.) That was all included in the price. His guys were great. Basically once I said yes and paid the deposit, I didn’t have to do or think about anything. Even when the weather was a bit crazy Francisco was very communicative about when they’d be back, and they were. I didn’t remember if we had discussed a few windows, and some areas that needed extra attention after the project was done. They were dealt with asap, at no extra charge. He gave me tips on keeping it nice, and gave some extra paint for when the kids (and probably me) inevitably mess up the brand new paint. I also like that he and his wife both have small businesses in philly. I would highly recommend New Era Pro for exterior painting projects. I would use them again for sure, but because of the quality products and quality of work, hopefully I won’t have to!"

"We would highly recommend R Jones Painting to anyone. They painted all of our houses in November 2022. They did a fabulous job and were very friendly, and professional. They provided us with a complimentary color consultation with a color expert who helped us pick paint for all of the rooms. The consultant was great, professional, knowledgeable, and also very friendly. Apart from being very thorough painting, they did extra things that they did not charge us for they fixed a tube that was loose on the washing machine when they painted the laundry room, they fixed a loose railing, and a French door that was scraping the floor in one of the rooms. They also painted our front door at no additional cost. We have three young children who managed to get the walls dirty after they were already painted while the Hugos team was still there. They fixed all of them at no extra cost. Our son had Pokemon stickers all over the walls in his room. It was a lot to take down so we told them not to worry about trying to save them, and that they could just take them down and throw them away. After they were done with his room we noticed that they removed all the stickers, and placed them neatly on our sons bed frame. They helped us move the furniture and made sure nothing got damaged in the process. Apart from painting all the rooms they also painted built-ins in the living room and they turned out beautifully. They came early every morning and worked hard all day. Hugo was at the site every day supervising and working with the crew. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. He provided us with valuable advice, for example on how the ceiling in the foyer should be painted. He was always eager to address any questions and concerns and always asked for our opinion. He also told us how to store the leftover paint to prolong its life. They completed the work on time, within the time frame they provided us before they started, without sacrificing the quality of their work. When they left our children kept asking when the nice painters are coming back and were devastated to learn that they were done. "These painters did a wonderful job with my Master Bedroom Ceiling which had a stain on it from squirells which were in the attic. They removed the stain and painted the portion of the ceiling to make it look like there never was a problem. I would recommend them for any work that you have. The price was fair too."

"The screened-in covered porch attached to the back of my house had shown signs of leaking for awhile. This February, however, there were several storms that brought with them high winds and heavy rain. My porch?s small leaks became greater in number and magnitude.    Jim, from W.J.C. Construction Services, came over that same day and assessed the damage to the porch roof. He gave me quotes to either  1. just repair and replace the leaking  shingles, or 2. replace the entire porch roof. He explained the first choice would stop the leaks where they were visible, but that it might not correct the cause of the leaking. Choice #2 was to replace the entire roof.     I considered both options and chose to have him replace the entire roof. I am very glad I did. As he worked taking the old shingles off, he saw that the original roofing on the porch was not up to code. Had I chosen to have him just reshingle the original leaking ares, I would still be left with a roof that would leak again."
