"Christine was the reason I hired this company. She is a true designer, and made great suggestions that none of the other companies came up with. I am very happy with the results."

Small jobs welcome

"The men were professional and curtious. They installed outside lightning in very cold weather. The paint job was done well. Wish they would have let me know that before finishing that another can of paint would have made a better finish. I would have gone and gotten more. Vacuuming up or asking if i wanted to before they put the furniture back would have been nice as well."

"Jason dis a wonderful job refacing our kitchen cabinets. He put in new drawers, counter top, sink and back splash. They also painted the kitchen and put in new lights in kitchen and above the sink. Their work was excellent and very reasonable price. Jason and his crew always cleaned up every day. They were all very nice and easy to talk to. We would highly recommend Jason and his work. "I began looking for houses and felt it was a good time to purchase my first home.  Working hard for many years to save up for a down payment, I needed to be educated about every detail to feel as though I was making the right decision.  My parents refinanced their house about a year ago and used Mark from Central Lending, as soon as they heard I was looking to buy a home they told me to call Mark.  My parents were so pleased with their experience that they felt I was in the right hands going to Mark.  I called Mark and right away he began answering my questions and we set up a time to meet.  His office was so nice and professional in a great location.  Being able to meet in person was a great way to begin our relationship.  I brought my financial information and we established a range that I would be able to afford.  Mark was honest, informative, and encouraging - all in all treating me like he would his own children, making sure I would be able to be a successful home owner.  When I found a house that was just perfect, everything was ready to go and Mark was with me right through to the end.  It was such a great experience that I want to share with everyone I know.  With the markets being so up and down you don't want to invest your money in the wrong way.  I know I made a great investment not only in my new home, but in working with Mark and Central Lending."

Pre Made Cabinets questions, answered by experts

There’s no strict rule about which way cabinet doors should open, but generally, double cabinet doors should open away from each other. With single doors, you want to avoid having them block your path or swing into  areas where people need to stand. Some kitchens are angled so that cabinet doors may crash into something no matter which way they swing, but the methods above can help prevent damage.

As a homeowner, there are a few things you can do to prepare for your cabinet installer. Once the cabinets are ready for your home, you can do the following:

  • Ensure pets are safely in another room, out of the way of open doors and large moving objects.

  • Clear countertops for removal.

  • Tidy the floor the installers will walk through and around.

  • Prepare to have the installers in your home for the entire day, for multiple days, until the project is done. Expect to have a noisy environment, especially if they will remove old, existing cabinets.

Yes, there are some options for pre-built inset cabinets—and RTA ones, too—but the selection can be somewhat limited. Many homeowners who decide on inset cabinets choose to have them custom made.

There are three primary ways to attach upper kitchen cabinets to a wall, and installers may use more than one method at a time. The most common method is to drive screws through the back of the cabinets and into studs in the wall behind. Sometimes cabinets are glued to the wall with strong adhesive. Often a combination of screws and adhesive is desirable. The last way is by hanging the cabinets on hardware brackets that attach to the wall before cabinet installation.

The 1/3 rule is a design guideline used by interior designers and cabinet installers to select appropriately sized pulls for cabinets and drawers. The rule suggests that for a balanced and cohesive look, a cabinet pull should be approximately one-third the height of the cabinet door or one-third the width of the drawer face. This guideline helps create a symmetrical appearance because the human eye tends to follow the length of the pull across the cabinet face.

While the 1/3 rule is a helpful starting point, it is not the only option. If a measurement falls between available pull sizes, it's generally best to size up. For an ultra-contemporary aesthetic, you can also opt for full-width pulls that span the entire drawer.
