Even when confronted with some unexpected issues (items that were not obvious until we begin the demo) midstream, they gave me complete Information so that I could make an informed decision on how to proceed. Their work is excellent, they are reliable and easy to communicate with, they are proud of what they do and want you to be happy with the results. "In summer 2014 I interviewed three different contractors to replace my back porch, which had some structural problems and was in need of replacing. I decided to hire the Construction Factory because John, the owner, listened carefully, seemed to understand what I wanted, and provided an estimate that I could afford. He and his crew started work in the winter and completed the job in February of 2015. Soon after completion, it became clear there was a problem with the lattice on the porch. The rest of the porch looked great and the work they did to upgrade my front porch greatly improved the curb appeal of my house. John and I had many conversations about how to fix the problem with the lattice and John tried several things to try and make it work. We even talked about taking a different design approach. It all ended recently when we finally agreed that the root of the problem were the vinyl lattice panels themselves. We joined forces and wrote to the manufacturer. We succeeded in getting a full refund of the purchase price for the materials, getting the promise of a full refund within a couple of hours! John and I agreed that if I paid for the materials, he would install new lattice with framing. At the cost of treated wood lattice, paint, and vinyl trim (under $1000), John and his crew removed the old, flimsy vinyl lattice and replaced it with ¾” treated lattice that my neighbor and I primed and painted. John’s crew was able to complete the replacement in one day (except for some final trim at the top of the skirt, which John himself promised to return and install in the next couple of weeks). My experience with this company started out great. Although we had some problems along the way, John always stuck with it and wanted to make it right and get me what I originally wanted. The porch is already getting accolades from my neighbors. John really turned things around by being persistent, talking things through with me, and following through on what he promised. If it wasn’t for this poor material, I’m sure the job would have been completed without a hitch."

I met with Dave LaBovick of Exceptional Exteriors and we agreed upon a price, which my wife and I found quite reasonable. The work on the vinyl siding began about a week later and took only a half a day to wrap up. The job was done to our complete satisfaction, The before and after is like night and day. Another crew arrived a few days later to do the porch and sidewalk. They began work on a Thursday afternoon and were finished 24 hours later. Once again, we are very happy with the result. In both cases, they removed all debris and left-over building materials associated with the job. We are not only completely satisfied with the work that Exceptional Exteriors did for us, we are looking forward to hiring them again for our next home project."
