"This is the second time we have hired Groundworks (formerly Bakers Waterproofing) to perform work at our house. The first project was in 2017 when we had the waterproofing system installed. We called Groundworks a few weeks ago to get an estimate on lifting our front sidewalk and stairs that have sunk a lot over the past year. The steps had sunk to the point that the railings were not connected to the house, making it very unsafe for anyone coming into the front of our home. Aaron Lenker & Corbin Gillichbover were very professional and knowledgeable when they arrived to assess our sidewalk and steps to lift them. They left our sidewalk and the surrounding area better than when they arrived. Our steps and sidewalk are now level, and the railings are securely attached to the house again. We are thrilled! "The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"I own an 90-year old historic colonial high school turned into a bed & breakfast. The windows were neglected over the past 20-30 years and in serious demand of work. Modern day window contractors were not going to understand this job. It's very difficult to find a contractor that will come through on a promise and has the skill to do as they boast. The day that Grady stepped into my 90 year-old home that needed historic window restoration, he became a part of the house. He knew exactly what had to be done. More importantly, he understood my expectations. These windows needed special attention. There was a level of detail required that not any expert would be able to handle. Grady took the time to learn their needs and stayed on the job until it was to my satisfaction. He even reworked an entire window just because I didn't like the way that it looked. Grady truly showed expertise with his ability to work on such a delicate job and even taught me a few things about historic window repair. He replaced broken antique glass with one just as aged and just as historic. If a window had to be completely rebuilt beyond his solid estimate, he did it without any complications to my budget. My windows are not only restored, but they are literally brought back from the past. Any enthusiast will appreciate the lint-seed oil, putty, and antique glass that was all restored to perfection. It was a pleasure having Grady work with us. He even stayed in the house at times to make sure he was available for the job. In fact, we're going to rename the room in which he stayed to "Grady's Den". Thank for bringing character and craftsmanship to my investment!"
