"I hired John to install a wooden play set in the backyard right before Christmas as a gift to my grandkids. I didn’t realize how complicated it would be to assemble when I purchased it, but he got it done for Christmas week! He kept me up to date on his progress especially during cold days when he had to bring parts to his workshop to get them ready to assemble. Luckily the weather improved a bit and was able to do it in temps above freezing."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

The process involves selecting a site, preparing the ground, setting up a supportive frame, and securely installing the liner and water filtration system.

It can take 24 to 48 hours to fill a 15,000-gallon pool with a garden hose. A hose will pump out anywhere from 4 to 12 gallons per minute, with the average hose resting somewhere between 8 to 9 gallons per minute. If you want to speed up the process, a water delivery service can fill your pool in a few hours or less.

Liquid chlorine is better for shock treatments or instances where you need to raise your chlorine levels quickly. Tablets are better for regular maintenance. Tablets take more time to dissolve but require less effort. You don’t need to measure out volume, and you can set them in a floater and let that do the work.

You should add chlorine within 48 hours of filling your pool with water. In just 24 hours, bacteria and algae will begin to grow and contaminate your water. After that point, you’ll need to shock the water with high levels of chlorine, and you’ll likely need to do additional vacuuming to get the pool clean. It’s important to check your chlorine levels two to three times a week and add more chlorine as needed to maintain a healthy level.

You can place a pool alarm on the surface of the water or mounter underwater with motion detectors. Alarms placed on the surface will alert you if it detects wave movement. If mounted below the surface, known as "sub-surface,” the alarm detects changes in water pressure.
