"We hired J&J Abatement and Demolition for what *seemed* to be a straightforward vermiculite removal in the attic of our newly purchased home. Jay and his partner started on the removal and discovered more than double the amount of vermiculite than was seen during the estimate. We are new, first time homeowners so you know that we were concerned about cost, but also very much wanted the asbestos gone! Jay was incredibly reasonable given the added square footage and did such a thorough job. This job took so much more time than I think any of us planned for because the space posed many challenges (unstable flooring, nails in the wood, not to mention the summer heat in an attic).
