"I recently had 4 Peace on Earth Properties install a new kitchen sink in my home, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. From start to finish, Jose was professional, courteous, and efficient. They arrived on time and were well-prepared for the job, with all the necessary tools and equipment. They worked diligently to remove the old sink and install the new one, ensuring that everything was properly aligned and sealed. Throughout the installation, Jose was friendly and communicative, explaining each step of the process and answering any questions I had. They also took care to clean up after themselves, leaving my kitchen spotless."

"We contacted him and he came out and gave us a great price. He started the work right away and got it done in a short amount of time. He did a wondreful job. He matched a the colors and railing of small deck off the bedroom to our new deck.  He made a couple of recommendations for our downstairs deck that made it look better than the one above it. He made suggestions for the upstairs deck that would improve its appearance. He did a small deck along the driveway and installed a railing system to make it easier to walk on. Johnathon recommended a decorative handrailing that his the ultiliity railing. We have gotten so many compliments on it and we love it! It is so easy to hold onto and get safely down the steps to the drive way."

Nest Installation questions, answered by experts

Gettysburg homes, especially older ones, often feature stone basements, thick plaster walls, and hidden crawl spaces that can harbor pests. If your property has multiple additions, root cellars, or outbuildings, pest control may require extra planning. Seasonal changes in Gettysburg’s climate can also affect pest activity, so mention any unusual layouts or features when consulting a pest control professional.

Helpful?

When reviewing pest control quotes in Gettysburg, be wary of unusually low estimates, high-pressure sales tactics, or requests for full payment upfront. Insist on detailed, written estimates and clear explanations of treatment plans. Reliable professionals should offer local references and conduct thorough inspections, especially for historic homes. Avoid companies unfamiliar with Gettysburg’s unique building styles or who skip discussing follow-up services.

Helpful?

Before hiring pest control in Gettysburg, document any pest evidence and ensure clear access to attics, basements, and crawl spaces. Ask about experience with historic homes and clarify any local restrictions, especially in designated districts. Review treatment plans, warranty details, and follow-up procedures. Confirm scheduling and preparation requirements, and ask how the company communicates updates to ensure a smooth process from start to finish.

Helpful?

In Gettysburg, if you notice small holes in wood, mud tubes on foundations, gnaw marks, or droppings, these typically indicate a pest control issue. Conversely, water stains, sagging floors, or cracks from settling suggest structural repairs are needed. Because many Gettysburg homes are historic, it’s common for pest activity and structural concerns to overlap, so consider both when assessing problems.

Helpful?

To protect your Gettysburg home, inspect for ant trails and termite mud tubes each spring, and check for wasp nests and spider activity in summer. In fall, seal gaps to block rodents and watch for stink bugs, which are common locally. Winter is ideal for monitoring attics and basements for rodent signs. Regularly check damp areas and storage spaces year-round to prevent pest infestations.
