You can see the 2 in wide concrete at the top of the hearth and the hearthstone inside of the firebox. You can also see the varying overhangs and the wide insert of additional concrete at the top of the hearthstone on either side to account for the additional space due to miscalculation. I have had numerous conversations with Katie who talks over me telling me this was done to code. She promised me twice last week that her manager would call me and I have not heard from anyone. At Baptiste Masonry we take great pride in every job we do like it was our own home. With 25 years experience I have seen a lot of beautiful work done by others and I have also seen a lot of not so good work. My goal for my customers is for them to be 100% satisfied and have a smile on their face when the work is complete. The job is not complete until that happens. "We had Abma come out to fix our AC unit this summer. They charged us over $400 to get it running. A week later the unit stopped working again. They came back out to look at it and said the unit needed to be replaced. Now, four months later, we get a $90 bill for the second visit. After talking to them, there was no compromise on the second charge. Horrible customer service."
