When the old cap crick (before I purchased the house), water would freeze in the winter and after 7 years the brick just blew apart. I had other company's give me estimate and there solution was stucco it. When Mike Ellis came out to view the damage it was clear to him the cause, I asked if just the damaged brick could be removed. I was told doing that would just cause other brick to come lose, and besides it need a new cap (which caused the problem). He was very honest and professional, they started the work on time and finished as promised. The workmanship is great and now I get compliments from my neighbors. The cap was poured and not pre-made it really makes a deferent's to the overall appearance, next we will buy a wood stove from him.

Mr. Ellis was very responsive to my inquiry. He gave me a number of options of varying costs. When I chose the option I wanted, he promptly scheduled the work. The work was completed on time and on budget. His work was excellent and, despite cleaning and re-lining two chimney flues, his work was very neat and no mess was left behind.
