"These 2 people went over and above to fix our 30 year old above ground pools broken skimmer that they had to make a piece for to install a new one because they don't make them anymore. They also repaired the beaded liner so it won't ever come off the track again. We recommend that if you need work on your pool you should contact them. They worked hard and were determined to get it done whatever was needed. Great job."

"We scheduled to have our retaining wall done back in April. Kelly, the owner came out to give us a quote and we scheduled it. He said he had some other Jobs to do before ours but he would fit us in during the month of August and we should reach out to him around the end of July to get a more firm date line of when he would break ground to fix our falling retaining wall. I reached out at the end of July as we discussed and he said due to the rain he didn’t know when he would get to us but it would definitely be in the month of August. I told him that we were selling our house and as long as I could have a firm week that he begin work- that would be enough information to list our home for the new buyers. He gave me the runaround and said due to the rain he would still not be able to make it out and wouldn’t know when he would be able to make it out. I gave him another week and checked the weather, it rained one day but the ground was solid and dry for over a week and still we heard nothing from him. We reached out again in the middle of August, the 14th, And I asked him if he knew which week he might be able to start work, and he tells me I should sell the house as is. Bet your britches I will attach a screenshot of his response. So unprofessional, he wasted my time for months and because I had him scheduled of course I did not schedule another company to do the work I needed done! He was rude and short and uninformative. I tried to be nice and civil, even extra friendly to let him know I was flexible and I asked him if he knew which week he might be able to start work, and he tells me I should sell the house as is. Bet your britches I will attach a screenshot of his response if I could!! So unprofessional, he wasted my time for months and because I had him scheduled of course I did not schedule another company to do the work I needed done! He was rude and short and uninformative. I tried to be nice and civil, even extra friendly to let him know I was flexible But still he was evasive and gave us no answers. A complete waste of our time money and it is now costing us big as we try to sell this house. I would never recommend him or his business and I’m beyond upset- if I could negative star him I would!"

in February 1997, i opened my own business Prior to 1997 i worked for my father's swimming pool business for 20 years. In those 20 years i gained experience with in-ground and above-ground pools, spas, pool renovations, retaining walls, brick and concrete patios, water features, waterfalls, fountains, fiber optic lights, auto covers and safety covers. to date i have installed an estimated 500 pools, both residential and commercial. In April of 1999 i opened a swimming pool retail store to better meet my customer's needs. The store offers a variety of pool toys, lounges, basketball, and volleyball games. By carrying a full line of pool and spa chemicals and offering water testing to ensure your pool is properly balanced, I further keep my commitment of servicing what I sell. I have a lot to offer you as a customer. Since I am not a large company, my goal is quality not quantity. You become a personal customer to me, not just another job. We do 90% of the work ourselves, which gives me maximum control of our time frame and the quality of the job. I take great pride in my work. i believe that if my customer is satisfied, he will become a repeat customer and refer his friends and acquaintances.

Pool and Spa Servicing questions, answered by experts

No. In fact, some owners prefer to “summerize” their hot tubs and use them primarily over winter to enjoy the contrast of cold and hot water. It’s possible to keep the tub filled and running year-round, and some pros may even recommend this method compared to the work and risks of a full winterization every year.

However, keeping the hot tub running will require additional resources. You’ll use more power and more chemicals to keep it in good shape. Weigh the pros and cons of your situation before making a decision.

It’s possible to move a hot tub on its side or base as long as it fits snugly in the moving truck, with plenty of padding around it. This moving method requires specialized equipment and careful planning, like moving straps, dollies, and moving blankets.

When your hot tub is completely dry, there is typically no need to introduce antifreeze into the plumbing. However, if you desire an extra layer of protection against potential freeze damage, you can consider adding some RV antifreeze to your hot tub lines. Just ensure that you use RV antifreeze specifically, as automotive antifreeze is highly toxic and should be avoided.

Unfortunately, a hot tub does use a relatively large amount of electricity. In fact, much of the money you spend on your hot tub will go toward electricity costs to keep the water heated. A typical hot tub will use anywhere from 1,500 to 6,000 watts of electricity per month.

Regular water testing, filter cleaning, and chemical balancing are essential for keeping water clean and equipment functional.
