"We could not be happier with the Puronics Hydronex iGen Whole home treatment system and Micromax 7000 drinking water system provided by Orbit Water Solutions. Justin, the marketing rep who sold us the system, was very professional and accommodating. Justin took about an hour to demonstrate a series of tests which reflected to quality of our water which had more chlorine and hardness than we expected. If you have concerns for lead, Orbit standard demonstration does test for it so you will need to have a separate test done. After some negotiation, we were able to settle on a deal which got us the system and financing for the next 10 years. Orbit provides annual maintenance services on the machine and there is a lifetime warranty on parts which really assured us we were making an investment to improve our water. The best part about it is that the system travels with you. For a small fee, Orbit will pack the system up and ship it to your next home if you move which was a big selling point for us. Orbit also threw in a subscription to PureSelects soap for the next 10 years which was a nice add-on. PureSelects provides every kind of soap or cleaning product you could ask for so it will be nice not to have to purchase additional soap products in the near future. Within a couple days, the installation team came out to install the system. They arrived on time but the installation took a little bit longer than expected. Turns out our the installed garbage disposal was too large to fit with the RO unit tank under the sink. Orbit was very accommodating though. Orbit purchased a new garbage disposal and installed it free of charge which I bet many companies would not have done. I highly recommend getting the larger of the under sink tanks for the RO unit. Even with the two gallon tank, my family has used up all the water in the tank. A 1 gallon tank would just not have been enough. The water in our house has been incredible since we installed the system a few months ago. We noticed an immediate impact to our skin and hair after using it and our drinking water certainly tastes better. Best of all, we feel confident in the quality of the water we use throughout the house to keep us safe and our appliances in good condition. We highly recommend the investment in the water treatment systems through Orbit."

"The whole process was detailed and well done. This was in a new home construction and Curt took the time to make sure the vision I had was brought to life. He custom designed the medicine cabinet in the master bathroom. Had our countertops and vanities set at the height we requested. The only issue I had was some lack of communication to let me know when there were issues getting the one bathroom vanity and letting me know timing of when someone would be coming to do the installations. Other then that the we overall are pleased with the work done."

"Install action went fine but after the installer left we had problems with water pressure. It turned out that the manufacturer installed tubes in the heater where the water goes in and comes out restricting the flow. The technician found this and once removed we had our water pressure back. Although it took two days to resolve, the technician stayed on top of it and made sure the heater worked to our satisfaction.

"My husband and I wanted work done to update our early 90's master bathroom and a half bathroom. Originally, we had a big name local contractor out to the house for an estimate on what it would cost to renovate these rooms. Not only was that contractor quoting us an outrageous price- we also realized that we wouldn't be able to have much say in the design. I wanted to be able to pick out everything from the vanity to the faucets and tiles...so we passed on the contractor company and found Kenny on Angie's List, and I'm glad we did! My husband and Kenny arranged a time for him to stop by and look at what we wanted him to do and he was prompt in getting back to us and even took his shoes off when he first came by! If you're looking to do the design yourself but just need someone to install it, Kenny is your man! We had a huge 2 sink vanity and ugly linoleum floors and he removed everything pretty quietly and fast. He also takes care of removing and disposing of the old stuff that was demolished. Kenny is neat and keeps his work areas clean when he leaves for the day. Keep in mind that Kenny is pretty much a one man operation (at least with our job)...and that he doesn't have a secretary around the clock returning calls and checking his emails. It could take some time to get a response back but he always kept in touch with us, even if he was unable to make it (which was only 1 time). Life happens and we totally understood that he was unable to make it that day. I can't understand why any of the reviews for Kenny's work have been given a grade any lower than a "B". Maybe the nitpickers should've called the local contractor company that I didn't  hire?! Kenny is a human being, not a huge corporation like Walmart! Some of the poor graded reviews for him on here are ridulous and petty. Along the way we purchased and returned some things from Lowe's and Home Depot and we had no problems returning those items (even with a lost receipt!) If you take in the items you are returning and have them swipe the card that was used to purchase the items they have no problem with returns. Kenny noticed that one of the toilets we purchased from Lowe's came with a broken toilet seat and he set it aside for us to return, we took it back to Lowe's and they gave us a brand new toilet seat. Again, stuff happens! I didn't blame Kenny for us buying a bum toilet! Kenny showed up at exactly 8am every morning just like he said he would and he got along well with our 3 dogs. Since I am somewhat handy around the house, I decided to do the painting in both bathrooms...so along with my decorating skills and Kenny's handyman skills- I ended up with my dream bathrooms! Kenny was super polite every day and I wish I had the option to post the photos of our beautiful bathroom!

"We used Angie’s list to find a contractor to work on our main floor and second floor bathroom (and some other minor work). After several contractors visited our home and told us that they could not convert our main floor bathroom to a full (or quoted an excessive price for the work), we ultimately called CM Contracting after reviewing their ratings on Angie’s list and other sites. In our initial phone consultation, both the head contractor (Chris) and his son (Tyler, also a licensed contractor) were professional, prompt and timely with scheduling a visit. Within 48 hours, Chris and Tyler arrived to the home, accessed both bathrooms and discussed the scope of work required. Unlike other contractors who came up with a number on the spot, CM Contracting said they would research our building plans and get back to us with a number. After a week, we were contacted with a quote and request for a followup meeting. After meeting face to face to discuss the price, we agreed upon the work and a start date, and they acquired all permits needed for the scope of work. At the beginning of work, Tyler took incredible steps to ensure dust and debris would be clear from the main floor by taping paper down on the wood floors and vacuuming/sweeping at the end of the work day. Chris was in constant communication throughout the construction, regularly contacting us to give updates and discuss any minor change in the scope of work. He also did a great job managing his subcontractors, which resulted in a timely completion of the work. His electrician Ken did incredible work with wiring the bathroom and fans in the bedrooms. His plumber Don also did an incredible job removing a non-functioning water softener, plumbed two bathrooms, and installed additional control valves. Most importantly, everyone involved warrantied their work, which is a huge financial relief when choosing a contractor for your home. Overall, we were happy with the daily interactions we had with CM Contracting and their subcontractors and we are very happy with our experience."

When the tech came out he was polite, efficient, and very quick.  Overall I was very happy with the service and would recommend them to others if the price is competitive with another company.

"Roof framing and siding went great. They did not start when they said they would but it wasn't long after that. Then Super storm Sandy hit and I guess they were very busy with emergency repairs. (no damage to my house from the storm) It took over a month till the porch posts and railings got replaced and then they were done incorrectly. I had to have them come back and install the correct angled brackets for the railing from the porch to the sidewalk, and that took a few more weeks.
