  • Alufab USA Hurricane Protection
We were extremely pleased with Alufab and they delivered an excellent product. Their sales representative Jack is very responsive and understood our needs and was a pleasure to work with. The window replacement was a breeze, without any mess. High quality work. The shutter projected was more complicated from an engineering perspective as huge motorized shutters were required to close our open lanais around the the pool. But Marco, the owner, took care personally, found optimal solutions and took care of the project personally. The installation team was very experienced and the installation was done without any problems. As we had a hard deadline for the project, Marco even came over the weekend by himself to do the last finishes. It has been four months since project completion and all shutters are working with no issues. Can highly recommend Alufab - they are real professional and gained all of our trust!

  • Nice Price Remodeling
Last summer we had our shutters replaced on our 3 story townhome. They were able to come right out to provide a quote. They came on time when it was time to install. They even cleaned up everything. Our experience was great! I would definitely recommend them.

  • Premier Siding & Roofing
The Premier Siding and Roofing Company spent one full day and four hours next day completing our roof replacement job, both house and shed and also did some siding repair. The work was needed due to bad hail damage. Kevin Juarez, a storm damage specialist, with his team - a group of eight workers - worked with us to make the entire repair process painless, even negotiating with our home insurance adjuster. We didn’t need to discuss much with the adjuster and received the initial check in one week. Kevin was both professional and personable. He listened and took notes for our special requests and followed through. Kevin was detail-oriented as well. He personally replaced one damaged lamp at the back of our house, the hale damaged shutters on our shed, and had the window screens replaced and installed in a few minutes. He also made sure that his team fixed the siding and caulked the leaks on the portico of the house. Besides Kevin, Louis was a very sincere workmen lead. He led a group of cooperative and conscientious workers. They worked hard and did the job seriously (almost without break). Considering the heat and the Covid situation, I think they did a professionally great and good looking job. Before they left, they cleaned up the deck, the patio, the driveway and the window sills, and moved back the planters, the water hoses and decorations to their original spots. They used rolling magnetic bars to collect the nails spreading around the house. They even used cleaning spray to wipe off the dark spots on the cement caused by the debris of the roofing. Two thumps up!

  • Assured Storm Protection LLC
It went better than expected. It's really hard to find reliable contractors in Florida. The work was done while we were away and was completed as bid.

  • Impriano Roofing & Siding Inc
I had used Impriano a year ago to replace my entire roof. The work also included replacing some gutters and shutters damaged by a falling tree in a storm. I was very pleased with their work. So when a more recent storm damaged some second story shutters, I called them. Mindy in the office was very good about keeping me informed of the timetable for delivery and installation of the shutters. The installer was very neat and professional. It wasn't so easy for him to place his ladder due to large bushes we have next to the house. The shutters look great and I did not have to do any cleanup after he was done.

  • First Class Contracting
To say this was a remarkable encounter and great experience would be close to an understatement. First Class Contracting had completed working at a neighbor?s house doing roof repair and painting when Charles Evans (owner?) approached me in front of my house soliciting work. Our house is a four bedroom, 2½ bath two-story built in 1965, and purchased by us in 1993. It had some of the original wooden shutters and had not been painted since the early 1990?s. In the interim we had replaced all the windows (solid vinyl) and doors (combination of wood and vinyl) and wrapped much of the trim with aluminum. After a little negotiating, a check of the work at the neighbor?s and a very positive talk with that neighbor, we verbally agreed upon scope, price and schedule. The scope was to remove the old and disintegrating shutters, power wash the home exterior, silicone caulk the siding corners and open seams, tape and protect the vinyl windows and doors adjacent to siding tighten any loose asbestos siding by removing loose nails and replacing with screws, paint all the asbestos siding (2 coats of Sherwin Williams ?SuperPaint? exterior acrylic latex) and replace the shutters on the front and one side of the house with raised panel solid color vinyl shutters. A further reference was provided without request and the scope of work and price were committed to writing which was finalized on Monday morning, 7/15. Work began that afternoon by a crew of four, Mr. Evans and three employees, and was completed by close of day on Wednesday, 7/17. That the work was performed so promptly is amazing in itself, but here are some further highlights that made the experience exceptional. When power washing, not only was the exterior siding washed, but so was a concrete patio attached to the rear of the house, a stoop attached to the rear of the garage and the aluminum siding of a small add-on porch attached to one side of the house. When I inquired if two abandoned rusting protruding exterior vents from a previous kitchen relocation could be removed and the area repaired with spare shingles that I had, Mr. Evans was most accommodating and made the requested repair. Now painted; it looks great. When I realized that painting the front door surround was not part of the original scope and requested it be included, that became part of the work. Again it looks great. Where shutters were removed that were purposely not being replaced, appropriate repair of the underlying shingles were made and care was taken to assure that the shadows of their prior existence didn?t show through the new paint. Where shutters were being replaced, all the holes from prior shutters and prior repairs were filled with mortar or patch material even where the new shutters would have masked their presence. Downspouts were removed prior to painting and replaced afterwards to assure thorough coverage. All jobs of this nature encounter bumps. They were absorbed and additional requests that were outside the original scope were completed without additional cost, even though I let it be known that I was expecting to be charged. The job concluded with a thorough clean-up and walk around. All-in-all my wife and I couldn?t be more pleased. First Class Contracting was incredibly prompt and hardworking, exceptionally accommodating and displayed a consistent positive customer service attitude. The result is beautiful, exceeding our expectations. We feel we got a quality job and superb value for our money.

Dan McDevitt of Total Home Exteriors did an excellent roofing job on our house and shed. He communicated well about the work to be done and met the completion date as agreed. He did a thorough job of explaining what needed to be done and what did not need to be done, provided many high quality samples for us to chose from, and the price was very reasonable. The crew worked together well, and the clean-up afterwards was fabulous. Honestly, when they completed the job that day, you would have never known from our ground property the extent of the work. I found Dan bending down and even checking under our shrubbery to make sure no debris was left behind. The clean-up was immaculate. The house roof and shed roof look so nice, and we have not had a leak since the work was done, even with the heavy storms our area has had this summer. This past spring, I had this company replace all our gutters and downspouts including gutter guards, and also replace our old shutters. I used this smaller job first to test out the work from this company before contracting the larger roofing job. Hiring a roofer was a task I was very worried about after watching on TV news where people got ripped off or had shoddy work performed. All the work from Total Home Exteriors was impressive, the price was great, and I will definitely use them for any exterior work I may need in the future. It was a huge relief to get all this work done and have such confidence in the contractor. Total Home Exteriors exceeded our expectations on each job performed on our home. I never imagined I would be joining Angie's List in order to praise a roofing job, but here I am. The work was that good.

  • EZ Lock Shutters & Glass Inc
The whole process was very satisfactory. They are easy to work with, knowledgeable, professionals and very friendly. Plus the team members that I interfaced with, Bob Carson (sales), Andres Espinoza (president), and the technicians Roberto and Antonio were responsive to my requests. The technicians were very courteous, installed the shutters quickly (in less than 5 hours), worked diligently until the job was done, and cleaned up everything. They handled the permit process, which went smoothly, and we passed inspection with no problems. I recommend EZ Shutters for their great job and great customer service.
