"A Cut Above many other Contractors! We had needed brick pointing done on our home for a few years. We are also in the middle of a renovation project for our game room and that included the installation of a sliding glass door where a window was. The door install required that a steel lintel be moved up to accommodate the height of the new door. We were very fortunate that we called Michener Chimney and Masonry to come and have a look. They came out in a timely fashion and gave their estimate to us in just a few days. Once we agreed to get the work done, Jim and his team from Michener began the work quickly. A few years ago, I had Bakers Waterproofing do some work for me in another part of the basement. Jessie was my service advisor at that time and he was also excellent! He was able to locate the immediate source of water coming into the basement from a spring outside. He showed me all the issues with my basement, however I chose to take care of part of the basement as the other part was not crucial at that time. "Removed old cracked concrete driveway, set proper new stone foundation, added proper thick asphalt layer and finished it nicely. Took 2 days due to tool damage otherwise it would have been all done in single day. Explained how long not to drive or park ,water on hot days, fillings top soil on borders etc. Also did parallel project of French drain on my backyard to divert run down water from hill behind my home to away from driveway for additional agreed cost. All work was excellent quality. Good team. Neighbor also gave them project for resurfacing which seemed to complete quickly too on same day in parallel with same equipment and team."
