"To say that my family was happy with the work that was done on our garage would be an understatement. We went from a distressed concrete floor that was well on its way to needing a total replacement to a true showpiece. I canâ t recommend these guys enough."

"When they finally did it, they did a pretty good job but unfortunately we have a little problem with it. Some of our water leak that we had in a particular area, we thought it was from the outside which they told us and not that it was from the dishwasher above. So it didn’t help the situation because we’ve had him out here 2 more times after and we’re going to have the dishwasher pulled off and either get a new one or find out what’s wrong where it’s leaking at. Unfortunately he didn’t tell us. They did a very good job. It’s just the idea of getting them out here to do it and too bad they don’t have the right people to do it. They are very nice. They took a basement because that’s what they do all the time and as a normal statement that they would need that the water is coming in through the bricks from the outside. Instead of digging it up from the outside which would have been a lot more money, they did it from inside. So that’s a good bouncing thing. It’s just the unfortunate area in this location in the work room that they didn’t notice above them and as time went out and we called them and they come out to repair it then they happen to notice it. That’s really the only thing that got me disturbed. They seem very concerned and they seem very professional and that’s why we used them. As far as the painting of the walls and everything else, the flooring and cleaning up, it was good. My wife called them quite a few times and they said they called my cellphone and there were no messages on my phone. They were here when they said they would be here."

Epoxy Flooring questions, answered by experts

To improve the appearance of concrete steps, you can repair any damage, refresh the surface, and add decorative elements. For crumbling, chipping, or broken sections, consider concrete resurfacing or light repair. If the surface is intact but discolored, applying a coat of paint, stain, or concrete sealer can refresh its look; reapplying a sealer every one to two years is recommended for maintenance. For a quick enhancement, you can also add decorative items like potted plants, garden statues, lanterns, or decorative railings to spruce up the area.

Apply two coats of paint to a garage floor after priming for optimal results. The first coat serves as a base layer, providing adhesion and coverage. Allow the first coat to dry thoroughly before applying the second coat, typically after 12 to 24 hours. The second coat ensures even coverage and durability and enhances the floor's appearance. Additionally, applying two coats helps to create a more substantial barrier against stains, chemicals, and wear and tear, resulting in a longer-lasting finish.

The cost to replace a driveway coating ranges from $275 to $850, or $550 on average. Naturally, larger driveways cost more than smaller driveways. The type of driveway sealant and the number of coats also impact the cost. Coal tar sealant costs the least, while latex acrylic sealant costs the most. Oil-based sealants fall in the middle.

It takes time for damage to accumulate on garage floors. After years without maintenance, they will show cracks, stains, and moisture damage while collecting layers of dust along the surface.

Unlike paint, concrete stain won’t peel off. Instead, the color absorbs into the surface of this porous building material. While it doesn’t peel, the stain only penetrates the top layer of concrete, and as the top of the concrete eventually wears away, so will the stain. However, this process is much slower than paint peeling, especially on low-traffic surfaces.
