Went very well. I've been using Angie's Custom Cleaning for several mos. and have been happy with this service.

Moving forward: Pre-arranged for Fri.,10/31/14, April will remove items beneath kitchen sink & clean it, then rearrange items. Also remove/rearrange hall closet & also do the regular house cleaning that day. Any special requests, outside the normal cleaning time, may require an additional fee which is always fair.

Conclusion: Should you need to do a white glove test, post-cleaning by this service, then ACC may not meet your standards. If you want your home to be very presentable, at a fair price, you'll be pleased.

Buffing and Polishing questions, answered by experts

To clean stone tiles, first sweep or vacuum to remove dirt particles. Use a mild, pH-neutral detergent and warm water to mop. Be careful not to use acidic cleaning solutions, such as vinegar and lemon juice, which can damage the surface.

Cracks, chips, stains, and worn-out sealant are common issues requiring repair.

Most marble floors last at least 25 years, and they can last forever with proper care and maintenance. As a natural stone product, they have the edge when it comes to lasting longer than synthetic or softer materials, but they can become damaged. Grit and dirt that get ground into the surface will wear away the layers of stone over time, so cleaning and routine maintenance are necessary. In particular, regular sweeping and annual polishing and sealing will keep them looking beautiful and prevent wear and damage.

Unsealed granite is more susceptible to staining and other damage. Regularly sealing your granite countertops decreases the chances you’ll need to repair damaged countertops in the future. It also keeps it looking shiny rather than becoming dull over time. You can check whether your granite needs resealing by putting a few drops of water on the counter and waiting 15 minutes to see whether the water permeates the surface.

Yes, stains can often be removed using a poultice paste that draws out the stain. The paste is applied, allowed to dry, and then removed, lifting the stain from the stone.
