I interviewed 4-5 angie list contractors.  Total Home was second most competitive on price, but I chose them because of their professionalism throughout the process.  Some of the other contractors, while I'm sure they would have done a good job end of day, I didn't have anywhere near the same confidence level that they would complete on time and on budget.  Tom was a pro from day 1...accurate on budget, 2. responsive, 3. responsive in punch items after the main construction was done.

"After having a contractor walk out on me without finishing the job I dealt with this hideous stair case. That was up until I met Phillip! I found him on Angi & within just a few days he was able to come and evaluate the work that I needed. Not only on the stair case but other unfinished project in just 2 days he completely flipped my home. Mounted my TV, installed new baseboard and trim, finished my flooring (also redoing the questionable DIY areas I did myself) and gave me this beautiful stairs case. Not only did he pick up the supplies for me but also stained and painted it all. He is meticulous in his work and takes pride in each project he does. We needed the work to be done in the shortest time window possible since a disabled parent had to be temporarily located to another part of house during the work.
