Hugh and his son are untrustworthy and their work is inadequate; leading you to larger repair bills in the future. I first commissioned this company in 03/2022 to have my roof recoded. The work was not done correctly and I had to request the company in 08/2024 to come look at the roof to correct three leaks in my ceiling which had started to show signs of black mold. For two and half months, I went back and forth with the company to come and honor the three year warranty. At month three I contacted the Better Business Bureau and Attorney General office in 10/2024. They came to complete the warranty work that following week, once they were served. As I had a firm mistrust of the company at this point, I had an insurance appraiser come to inspect the quality of the warranty work. I was disappointed but not surprised that again the company did inadequate work; leaving cracks uncoded, holes in my foundation and using "tape" to address the cracks causing the leaks!

I hired HG Wilson to repair and paint and seal my deck and he done an outstanding job. Completed in a timely manner, professional from start to finish and of all the contractors I received estimates from he was fair and worth every penny. I highly recommend 10/10.

I have looked at Vinyl siding jobs everywhere from here to N.Carolina I have never ever seen an awning or house trimmed in the siding as poorly done as this was. They pieced it together so much it looks like patchwork they did not seal the siding like all other siding jobs they put caulking on the seams of all those pieces they put on there. Not good at all you do not seal siding seams with caulk.

Every time it is raining a lot, I need to use buckets since they never repaired the leaking area on my roof.

Hugh and his sons performed their job, which was great, but I overpaid and I was too naive to know. I paid $2500 for a white silicone coating. It ended up taking them roughly 3 hours to do my roughly 700 sq ft roof. The materials themselves may have cost $400-$450 total. For 2 people, that's $333 per hour. Go ahead and hire Hugh and his sons to seal your roof, but learn from my naivete and do some research.

H.G. Wilson waranteed his work on the 3rd and 2nd floor roofs. Rain has chewed up a sizeable strip on the 2nd floor roof that can be seen from a 3rd floor window. When informed two weeks ago, he volunteered to view and assess the damage in two days. I phoned after a week. -- No answer. Two subsequent calls, simply requesting he return the call, has elicited no response. Perhaps Angi can learn what's happening.

He was the only one who showed up and gave me an estimate. Others said they would email. Didn't happen.

This contractor did a thorough job and even went a step further by explaining how the roof and porch needed coating at the seams to prevent water damage to the future. He offered me a quote and I accepted. I really appreciated his services.
