Small jobs welcome

"We were referred to Craig by our local plumber after we started to have a leak in the tub. Craig was prompt with setting up an appointment and providing an estimate for a tub surround replacement. The pricing that was given was VERY reasonable so we proceeded with the project.Craig is passionate about the services he offers which is proven in the detail of work that was performed which is phenomenal. We would definitely recommend him and have already asked him to do 2 more projects in the near future. proven in the detail of work that was performed which is phenomenal. "Don seemed to drop off the face of the earth because I have more work for him BUT he has not answered my calls. Do you know where Don's helper, Greg, is now? I know Greg received his contractor license. Greg has all the experience and he does great work. Don was more a helper and Greg did the work, which was great. Do you know where he is now??? Thanks Please advise. Thanks"

Fencing questions, answered by experts

Ideally, when you replace a fence post, you should also replace the concrete footing. The concrete bonds to your new post, creating a secure base. If you install a new post into old concrete, it won’t be as sturdy.

That said, it is possible. Sometimes the post will lift right out of the concrete. If not, you can use a high-lift car jack to try and lift the pole out of the footing. Put the new post into the same hole and backfill it with fast-setting concrete. Keep in mind, this won’t work well for metal posts.

Hedges are a better financial investment for a home than fences in several ways. First, hedges are less expensive to install than fences. Fence installation costs $1,775 to $4,600, depending on the type and size. You can also choose to plant smaller and less expensive hedges, knowing that it will take longer for them to mature. Next, mature hedges add resale value to the home, meaning the cost savings get even better when it's time to sell.

Most homeowners who install a wrought iron fence do so because it provides security. The material is sturdy and deters intruders from entering your property. They're also built to last and won't rust if you purchase a galvanized iron fence. So, you don't have to worry about replacing fencing every few years like you might with wood or other less expensive materials. Most homeowners also adore the look of wrought iron fencing, which adds a timeless look to just about any style home.

You'll notice that many projects that add value to your home involve increasing curb appeal. Adding an aluminum fence improves the style of your yard and the safety levels for pools, pets, and backyard playtime. You can also choose aluminum fence designs with unique ornamental features or paint the fence to match your home's style.

By securing posts deeply and ensuring proper drainage around foundations.
