He was always pleasant, even when asked to repaint after we didn’t like the color we picked. (He even suggested the perfect color for the area.) The work areas were kept clean, and he always showed up when he said he would and was responsive to texts and phone calls. We liked the work so much that we’re hiring him to do our kitchen remodel in the fall."

Overall, Jesse and his team were wonderful to work with.  They were all very respectful and nice.  The team tried to leave as much as the wiring and the floor as possible, as not to demo everything.  In the demolition process, however, some of the screws for the light fixtures went missing (not a terrible thing, but a small hassle).  The whole process took about a week, and the drain and the walls were fixed.  Our house doesn't smell moldy anymore which is a great plus!  Two small things which bothered me slightly after the fact, was that the foreman, Bryan, said he would return a window insert for our basement window, which he hasn't done yet (it keeps air from entering the basement).  Also, instead of unscrewing some piping around the dryer vent, it seems that they have just ripped it out (but that was an easy fix on our end...we just got a new aluminum pipe for the dryer).

The team put plastic sheeting down to protect the furniture on the first floor where they had to come in and out of to get to the basement (we don't have basement access).  They also did a cursory cleaning before they left each day, which I appreciated.  It wasn't a deep clean, but that wasn't expected either. 

Jesse offered, kindly, to help us find some contractors who could help replace the drywall/studs and retile our floor; however, his contacts were all busy and weren't able to help us.  We ended up contacting some contractors through Angie's list to help us return our basement to its finished self. 

It has been about a week and half after the work was completed, and the system seems to be working (and we have had some crazy rain storms).  Although there is a puddle of water that collects around the lid of the sump pump, which worries me slightly.  I have called Jesse to ask him if that's normal, but otherwise the work was well done!

"They did a wonderful job. I unfortunately don't remember the team of guys that they sent in. With the exception of two of them, they were from another country and so, they didn't speak a lot of English. One was kind of a translator of the guys who were working. They worked from 7 in the morning to 7 at the night, four different guys. They did a great job. We have not had any problems with the basement ever since. They did a wonderful job! I have told other people about them since. I would use them in future."

"We are so happy with the work of WilMarc Construction- we have had them do two major home remodels for us- both times, Willie came out and listened to our ideas and what we had in mind and then gave thoughts of his own (which were always better than ours) and the results were both beautiful and reasonable. Our first project was redoing a kitchen and we had thought an extension would be best and he came up with a more economical solution to combine a couple of rooms, change windows and location of the bathroom. He always did what he said he was going to do and didn't overcharge. Our last project was just finished- installing hardwood floors and redoing two upstairs bathrooms. When we started pricing out flooring at a couple of flooring places, we realized it would be better to ask Willie his opinion and get an estimate and we ended up doing two bathrooms as well as the floors and replacing the stairs--all things that needed to be done for a reasonable cost. Once the work was started, they were here everyday and we were notified if they weren't going to make it due to supplies being unavailable or the weather. If a problem came up it was corrected quickly and to our liking. I would recomment Alpine Contracting to anyone in need of a general contractor. We were very pleased with the amount of time it took to complete everything and how flexible the workers were with us as homeowners.
