"On April 25, 2024, we had a bad experience with B&D Sealcoating & More, William â Billâ Kester and Dustin Wackwitz (â B&Dâ ). They dug out a trench where our driveway meets our garage floor and left a serious trip hazard and perfect place for water to pool to cause more property damage (pictures attached). Perhaps they ran out of materials and just decided to call it a day (since they began work at the street and worked their way up to the garage, that explanation seems plausible). I wasnâ t home when they finished, and my husband had given them the $1,450 check earlier (which they cashed at our bank after leaving our home) so withholding funds wasn't an option. We were very dissatisfied but, after receiving a text from the person who recommended B&D warning us to NOT hire them because of newly-discovered information, we decided to just cut our losses and hire someone else to finish the job. Until now, the only person we confided in about our dissatisfaction with B&D was the author of the warning text. Unfortunately, the author of the warning text recently shared our dissatisfaction with William â Billâ Kester and he sent us several threatening and taunting messages. We are in the process of finalizing a complaint with the PA Attorney General and exploring legal options."

"Installed bad parts, wanted to charge another job to fix. Plumbing leaking in wall if tub is used. Caulking separated within 48 hours. Popcorn sprayed all over my skylight. Called me a liar multiple times, saying he warned me of bad parts. Not true. Shady company, unwilling to resolve anything they messed up. Pictures and texts will be posted on social media to come. (After ripping me off, he also ruined a neighbors remodel up the Street from me, also overcharged) I was quoted 22$ an hour for him, 15$ an hour for his helper for 40 hours. They both were they together COMBINED working 25 hours for 1700$ labor. That's 68$ each ... Unreal. Good luck"

You can prevent air leaks and sagging by gluing a drywall ceiling. However, not every drywall job is a good fit for Sheetrock adhesive, and many pros say ceilings are one of those cases. You should stagger drywall sheets to help prevent cracking. The joints between drywall sheets are the weak spots, so if you install drywall with seams aligned, you’ll create weak lines that run across the length of the wall and extend from floor to ceiling. But when you stagger drywall, the solid sections of panels will support the joints. This can prevent seams from cracking or separating due to fluctuating temperature and humidity, vibrations from movement inside the home, and gravity.

For maximum stability, install grab bars on wall studs, as this will adequately support the weight. However, if you don't have access to studs, you can get by with wall anchors. If opting for the latter, choose specialty hollow wall anchors.
