"Discussed what I needed and was given a quote over the phone. Said they would make sure up to code. Set an appointment and they called stating they were running a bit behind; great customer service. Greg and Kevin worked efficiently. Will recommend and use for future work."

"Mose is a great guy, easy to contact, easy to talk to. He does great work and doesn't quit until you're happy with the result. We had him install drywall and prepare the room for paint, which we preferred to do ourselves. When we were ready, he even came back and put up the trim for us several months later! Moderately priced, and well worth it! We will definitely hire him again."

"Very smooth, Nick and his crew pay attention to detail and explain what the issues are with you prior to fixing them. Good quality work at a fair price. I would recommend Inghram Roofing to my friends and family. Thank you Nick!"

Drywall questions, answered by experts

The easiest way to cut holes in drywall for electrical boxes is to use a spiral saw with a drywall router bit. Hang the drywall without cutting out a hole for the box, but make sure you measure and mark where the box is located on the wall. Once you screw in the drywall sheet, drill a small hole into the box void, insert the spiral saw bit, and move it around the edge of the box using the inside wall as a guide. You can also use an oscillating multi-tool with an electrical box cutout for fast, professional results.

Metal corners, often referred to as corner beads for square corners, are used on drywall installations to provide structural reinforcement to vulnerable outside corners. Their usage safeguards against chipping, denting, or other forms of damage, enhancing the overall durability of the wall. Metal corners also offer a precise and straight edge that facilitates sharp and clean lines, crucial for achieving a polished and professional finish.

Your walls are likely cracking due to fluctuations in the temperature outside. Drywall tends to expand and contract when temperatures and humidity levels change, and this repeated movement can lead to cracks in your walls, particularly around door frames. If you have multiple diagonal cracks, you may want to have your foundation inspected, as cracks can also be a sign of a bigger issue.

Popular wall textures include orange peel, knockdown, spray sand, and smooth finishes. Orange peel and knockdown are particularly common choices for drywall as they are simple and cost-effective. Orange peel texture has a lightly bumpy surface resembling the skin of an orange, while knockdown (sometimes called knockout) looks like a stucco finish with flattened high spots. In contrast, popcorn texture has fallen out of fashion, partly due to its past association with asbestos and a shift toward more restrained interior design styles.

Professionals mount TVs using specialized tools and knowledge of different wall materials, ensuring safe support.
