"Dave at North Creek Construction was awesome! My very old garage was in very sad shape-cracks in the foundation, leaks in the roof , decay and dry rot, etc. Dave came up with a plan to fix it all and to make major improvements. All at a reasonable price. . He communicated effectively in a manner that was professional and cordial throughout the process. The result is beautiful, and solid."

"Travis was great to work with from start to finish! He completed a project at my home on the Oregon Coast, which involved a heavy duty cleanup of my backyard and the creation of an RV parking space. I especially appreciated the detailed and thorough estimate before the work was done. I'm very happy with the results, my backyard is completely transformed and exactly what I expected. I'd highly recommend!"

"Larry was an absolute pleasure to work with. He replied promptly to emails and calls. He was able to match the existing color perfectly as I wanted to retain the color even though the entire home and shop were repainted. He changed the trim color, at my request, which really made a difference in appearance. I also asked about some additional work regarding the siding on the shop and thought his price was very fair. That work was also completed quickly and professionally."

"Company is very knowledgeable (the how to's and materials to be used)about all they inspected including state/county laws governing these systems ie. what excavators are to do to insure dry foundations and basements.  This company has general contractor experience and background education for general contracting so several areas get checked very thoroughly.

Excavating questions, answered by experts

While you can save some money by digging your own pool, you may end up paying more in construction equipment rental fees in the long run. You could, however, focus your DIY energies on lowering the cost of leveling your lawn for your pool or filling in surrounding landscaping after construction.

The cost to drill a well varies, with a national average of around $5,500 for a 150-foot well. However, prices can fluctuate significantly based on several factors, including your location, the required well depth, geological conditions, local regulations, and the specific drilling methods used. For the most accurate cost assessment, it is best to research and get quotes from local well-drilling professionals in your area.

A perc test can take anywhere from one to eight hours to complete. The total time depends on factors like the amount of excavation required, the depth and width of the holes, and whether multiple test holes are needed. For a single hole, the process of filling it with water and monitoring the drainage rate usually takes less than an hour. Professionals can often complete the entire test in a single day. While it's possible to get results the same day, some companies may take a few days to provide the official report.

Hard soil could be a sign of overly dry dirt, either from poor drainage or drought. It's important to test the nutrient levels, density, and drainage capacity of your soil to see if it's absorbing water properly. Begin by adding a light layer of water and observing how long the soil retains moisture. If you experience a good deal of runoff, you may need to aerate your lawn, apply a wetting agent, or hire a professional for a closer look.

Almost any kind of home can have a wine cellar or cabinet installed. You’ll need an area where a concrete floor can be put in, along with the necessary insulation, climate control, and ventilation systems. If you think of yourself as an aspiring sommelier, an underground wine cellar may be ideal, but it will cost significantly more.

What you choose to install really depends on your budget and how many bottles you’re looking to store.
