After we engaged them, they returned on-time, with all appropriate paperwork, including a detailed contract and the legally required information regarding our rights with respect to contractors. They described what they were about to do and why, the possible things that could go wrong, and what they would do if they uncovered any additional work to be done. They discussed the timetable for the work, and made a number of adjustments to accommodate our schedules. They kept us regularly informed as the work was progressing, and when they encountered additional dry rot, they stopped to consult with us and prepared a revised estimate. In fact, if we could keep them on retainer to put this 60 year old house back into perfect repair, we would."

"The furnace took 4 days to get approved( not counting a Sunday) the others were quick but the water heater had to be ordered so without hot water for a week. One ceiling fan was easy but within a year their policy changed and They would not install the one I purchased and had to get a new one approved and then ordered online and took several weeks to get straightened out. Not sure who was at fault, AHS, installer or scheduling with renter. Fee is usually $75 per visit"

"Don Taber was an extremely nice person, but he seemed to dilly dally for 4 1/2 hours on a job that should have taken a maximum of 2 hours. He ate his breakfast in his van when I was at Home Depot trying to get a higher amp. exhaust as he requested I should do, and then, when I arrived home he thought he should go into the attic to see if he could pull the old fan out that way; I already told him the fan was not accessable through the attic. He could of gone in the attic while I was gone. He really needs organizational skill building. Other that that, he's a very kind and generous person I thought."
