"Great presintation! They explain all about roofing, product, if there will be any extra cost wood, look in your attic for damages, 3d pictures of your roof how it will look like after it's been done. Added extra ventilation where needed. Clean up was great. I have Dish, they paid the cost to have Dish come back out. There was no surprises! They delivered product one day, next day they removed old wood and replaced with new and extra ventilation. It's just beautiful! They went beyond did extra safety steps for the customer. My roof looks great, beautiful and I can't stop looking at it. We have the roof for Idaho weather not California. The cost is high but you will have a nice product you will not have to worry about for a very very long time. I would recommend this company they are a top quality roofing company."

"Tony is a seriously dedicated worker, and an excellent painter. He absolutely transformed our house and put in much more work than I'm sure he bargained for, at a competitive rate. The house looks great! My husband was disappointed in his carpentry skills, however, and the fact that we now have additional work to do on our deck, garage doors, and gutters leaves me inclined to say that I would hire him again without reservation to paint, but not necessarily to do any carpentry. We also have a lot of trash left behind to take care of. The devil is in the details."

The new siding gave our home the modern, updated look we were going for ? it?s like a whole new house. The team at Dexica was skilled and dependable, and it showed in every step of the process. They walked us through the entire project, helped us choose the right style and color, and delivered high-quality results that truly exceeded our expectations. Stucco questions, answered by experts

Stucco repair can best be described as a patch. It involves identifying the problem and fixing that specific damage with additional stucco. If no mold infiltration or an underlying leak is causing the damage, repair is most likely all you need.

Remediation, on the other hand, involves removing the existing siding, fixing the underlying cause of the damage, and then reapplying stucco siding for that wall. It’s a more permanent fix that takes longer to complete and, hence, comes with a steeper price tag than repair.

Properly installed and maintained stucco can last 50 to 100 years, making it one of the longest-lasting siding materials available. This durable material is known for its durability, and as long as you clean and waterproof it regularly and promptly repair any damage, it’ll protect your home for decades to come.

Masonry screws are the best option to be used on stucco. They’re thicker and made to penetrate harder surfaces like concrete and cinder blocks. Fluted masonry screws work the best because they create a stronger grasp thanks to the lines on their shafts. If you’re working on exterior stucco, use galvanized screws to prevent corrosion.

It’s not advisable to use CLR on stucco. CLR is a powerful acidic cleaner designed for removing tough mineral stains. Stucco is a porous material commonly made of cement, lime, and sand. The acidic nature of CLR can potentially damage or etch the stucco surface, leading to discoloration or deterioration.

It is best to use cleaning solutions specifically formulated for stucco or mild household cleaners mixed with water to clean stucco siding. Always test any cleaning product in a small, inconspicuous area before applying it to the entire stucco surface.

One of the most significant downsides to stucco is the installation cost, which is higher than that of many other siding options because getting it to look clean and professional is a labor-intensive process. Stucco can also absorb water, making it an unsuitable option for siding in areas that see excessive rainfall. Finally, stucco can crack and chip, especially in extreme weather, and repairs are not only challenging and require help from a professional who does stucco, but can get expensive.
