At Arne's Sewer & Septic Services, we are a licensed, bonded, and insured company, specializing in septic tank and grease trap pumping, installation, and repair services. We do both Residential and Commercial work and our pumpers are trained by the owner and must do actual installations and repairs before becoming a pumper themselves. This "rite of passage", is done so that he/she can identify problems before or after they occur, saving the homeowner tons of money in unnecessary repairs.

"Horrible! He substituted a plastic tank for the concrete one. Said it was better. It's not. He didn't level/compact the holes, didn't install an anti-siphoning value and tried to not install the control panel. Plus, he charged us extra for the plastic tank. Turns out we paid about $2k more than the going prices at the time. Then he referred us to his friend, Michael Cross, for the 2-year maintenance contract. When his friend quit, we found out all the things wrong with our septic. 168 low water level alarms, siphoning, vent out of level, excessive settling. Of course, by then it was past the time we could put in a complaint with the contractors board. We tried suing his friend, Michael Cross (M Wastewater Management), but he has Legal Shield so that was a waste. We'd sue Randy Ryan too, but he probably also has Legal Shield which would explain why he doesn't feel he needs to even respond to calls or letters from us. Do not use!"

"Came out to do warranty work on a pump head they'd recently replaced, were timely and did the work in the agreed upon time. However afterwards they started showing up demanding payment. It was confirmed warranty work ahead of time and at time of service, I was so confused. Calls to the office were denied or flatly answered 'pay your bill you cheap ***' Time went on and it went to collections, I showed up in small claims court with my stack of evidence, they didn't show up. Another two years go by. 'When are you going to pay your bill' What? This is crazy - all for some warranty work. Call any other well or pipe person in the area - there are some great ones that will stand by their work and won't jerk you around or change their mind after the work is done. HPS does not deserve any of your money - call *anyone* else"

A septic tank should be emptied about once every two to three years. The number of people in your household and the size of your tank can influence how often to pump the septic tank. Both materials are suitable for septic tanks, but concrete usually lasts longer than plastic. If you’re buying a new tank, the prices are similar for plastic ($500 to $2,500) and concrete ($700 to $2,000). However, there’s a notable difference in repair prices, with plastic tank repair costs ranging from $150 to $2,000, while concrete repairs are between $700 and $5,000.
