Here are the steps we're taking as a result of your feedback: It's true that a 12,000 lb. excavator will have an impact on the site's grass. Going forward, our technicians will more thoroughly explain the temporary effect a tank replacement may have on a customer's landscaping. I'm sorry that the sprinkler system was damaged. Our records show you did not provide us with a schematic of the sprinkler system. So we were digging "blind" to the sprinklers. We can and do preserve sprinkler piping when we know where it is. It's true that our contract specifies we're not obligated to repair underground breakages. All businesses which excavate on residential property have a similar provision in their contracts. It makes sense, doesn't it? We can't avoid what we can't see. Of course we always "call before you dig" so publicly-owned underground facilities (utility lines) are marked. Thanks for the opportunity to do work for you, and I'm sorry it was a bad experience. In the future, we intend to provide customers with more education on the tank installation process prior to breaking ground."
