Small jobs welcome

We are a small residential general contractor licensed in Oregon offering a variety of carpentry services indoor+outdoor. \n\nOur professional background was largely in finish carpentry services working for well established companies in the industry: all door types, closet systems, railings, hardware and a variety of millwork ranging from baseboards, door casings, window casings, handrails, crown molding, etc. If it was made from wood and is inside your home, we did it.\n\nWe do outdoor work as well ranging from fences, decks, exterior doors/trim, etc.\n\nOur time in the trades taught us there is a right way and a quick way to do things and the RIGHT WAY is what we are most passionate about. We're motivated by providing people with a high quality of work because its what we would want if the roles were reversed!\n\nWe look forward to helping improve your space in whatever way we can with the skills we've acquired in our journey as tradesman and we thank you for your consideration.

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

No, shock and chlorine are not the same thing, though they are related and both are used for pool maintenance. Regular chlorine, often in the form of tablets, is a sanitizer used for routine, day-to-day maintenance to keep a steady chlorine level. Pool shock, however, is a highly concentrated dose of chlorine used periodically for a more intense cleaning. It rapidly raises chlorine levels to fix issues like cloudy water or algae growth and also eliminates chloramines, which are byproducts of regular chlorination. Because their purposes and concentrations differ, they are not interchangeable, and proper pool care typically requires using both.

Calcium lumps in a pool are calcium deposits that form when a pool's water parameters are not in the normal range. They can float around on the surface of the pool water, making it look and feel dirty. The most common causes of calcium lumps in pools are calcium hardness above 1,000 ppm, alkalinity over 120, and a pH over 7.8. Keeping your pool’s calcium levels, alkalinity, and pH levels within the normal, safe ranges is the best way to prevent calcium lumps and other problems, including damage to the pool surface.

Factors affecting pool installation costs include pool size, construction material, special features (like lighting or waterfalls), landscaping, and prevailing site conditions, which might enhance excavation complexity.

Common problems include liner tears, pump malfunctions, and algae buildup. Regular maintenance prevents many issues.

A solar cover can heat your pool anywhere from 5 to 15 degrees Fahrenheit over the course of 6 to 12 hours, depending on how much full sun your pool gets and how big it is. When used in conjunction with a solar pool heater, your pool will heat up even faster, all while using less energy than a traditional pool heater.
