Scherluck LLC focuses on Asbestos and Mold/Moisture Intrusion Inspections in residential dwellings. This includes sampling and fogging mold with a biocide. We use EmLab P&K to test samples. They have a long list of accreditations and certifications with relatively short turn around times. Our inspectors have the accreditations, training and experience needed to conduct thorough inspections, sampling and biocide fogging.

"Excellent. He was very conscientious, followed through on everything he was asked to do, and used his knowledge to address any questions that came up."

"We asked this contractor to remodel our bathroom and repair after water damage. He agreed to do the work, and told us to pick out tile for our shower. We contacted him to let him know what tile we had chosen, he said the shower pan had been ordered, and would be in two days later. That was the last we heard from him. He will not answer our calls, texts or emails. It has now been three weeks. If you hire this one, have a plan B for if he disappears! Thank God we didn't give him any money! You would think if he had changed his mind, or was too busy, he could have had the common decency to let us know instead, he left us hanging!"

I chose to work as a Home Inspector because my 20 years as a Mechanical Engineer and home remodeling expert prepared me to perform this job at a high level. At Connors Inspections we perform thorough and detailed home inspections for people buying a home or considering selling a home. I enjoy using my experience to help people make quality decisions. Our friendly, honest, and reliable approach will help you feel at ease. As payment options, we accept check, cash, Zelle and Venmo.

"Craig was very detailed. He checked everything in the house making sure the house is sounded. He even checked the age of the water heater, and making sure all appliances are in working condition. Very reliable and fairly priced. He inspected the sewer line and located exactly where the issue is, so it is possible for us to find it and fix it. Highly recommended. Very dependable."

Advanced Vertical Solutions, LLC D.B.A. AVS Elevator is built on the life long experience as a 4th generation native Oregonian and 2nd generation elevator constructor. Frank A. Stalen and his father Paul J. Stalen have spent their elevator careers and lives in the City of Portland, contributing to its local communities. Their combined Oregon history brings AVS Elevator an in-depth study of the elevator industry dating back to the early 1950‘s and an understanding of its place in our ever growing economy and local communities. The birth of AVS Elevator came from a steady decline of the service offered by the industry as a whole. For example, the annual service work load for the average elevator constructor has elevated from approximately 50 elevators to 300 per man and growing. Safety, reliability and customer service has been marginalized as profit taking and ever growing overhead percentages drive the work loads of the elevator constructors beyond the breaking point by the industry conglomerates. “We have set out to bring you an alternative choice and to fill a void in the industry.” In developing our business plan with Mercy Corps Northwest. Home Inspection questions, answered by experts

In most cases, the most severe issue a home inspection report could identify is a structural problem, specifically related to the foundation. Foundation repairs are often the most expensive and intrusive repairs to carry out, averaging around $5,000 but sometimes reaching up to $16,000. You should ask questions during your home inspection about all of the issues your home inspector identifies, but you’ll likely need to think most about foundation problems and how they affect what you’re willing to pay for the home—that’s if you’re willing to move forward with the sale at all.

If your home has a forced-air HVAC system, it will also have HVAC duct parts. Air ducts are connected to an HVAC unit and deliver heated or cooled air to each room; your heating and AC wouldn’t work without ductwork.

However, if your house has a boiler or radiator system for heating and doesn’t have central AC, you probably don’t have ductwork installed.

Most areas require both a building permit and an electrical permit for the installation of a home wind turbine. You may also need zoning approval, especially if your property is in a residential neighborhood or near protected land. Inspections are needed after foundation work and upon completion of electrical connections. Permit costs can range from $100 to $1,000, depending on local regulations and project complexity.

Structural problems with the foundation or roof, water damage, and plumbing or electrical issues are all red flags in a home inspection. These problems can pose serious safety risks and be costly to repair. If a home inspection identifies any serious issues, you’ll want to remedy the problem as quickly as possible to avoid the problem getting any worse.

Long-term exposure increases lung cancer risks. Prolonged homestay individuals and smokers encounter heightened vulnerability and exposure concerns.
