"this is my second review. I am totally confused by this company. If I could add to my first review I would. This is what happened: I contacted them to come out to a rental property to fix a run on toilet. They came out and I was told the toilet was fixed. When I received the bill months later it had been sent through my lawyer of my trust even though I had given them my address, they went online to find the owner of the property etc. So they did not keep a record of my address or phone number that I had given them. (this ties in later). On the bill it said, leaky faucet. I called them and said I wish they had called me when they were AT the property as there is always a fee to just show up - they could have fixed the faucet WHILE they were there. Tony (or Kyle, but I think it was tony) said so sorry and he would go back out and fix it and even throw in the faucet (that he has at the office) to make that up to me. I said well, thank you but will it fit that old sink? He said to email photos of the sink. I did. I then emailed many more times and called many times and never heard back. So I came in to angies list to right my first review. THEN Tony called. He apoligized and told me how many properties they manage well and they wanted to make it up to me. I had by this time ordered the correct faucet so they went out to install it at no charge. They sent a "bill" for $750 (but no charge) and it showed many other items they did for free that were kind of vague to me but I am not a plumber - like teaching the tenants how to use the kitchen faucet without it making a humming noise (I didnt know it did that or why). But I thought ok, good. It's all fixed. Then I emailed them again months later and reported that there was a leak in the basement and I sent photos of the leak of the pipes above the clothes washing machine to be very clear what work needed to be done. Tony wrote me back about what he suspects the leak in the basement is from and an estimate on the cost to clean out that pipe etc - I agreed and CC-ed my new (second floor) tenant so they could work out when to go back out and get access to basement. THEN my new tenant informs me the toilet is leaking. I check in with previous tenant and say, I thought that was fixed? - and I was informed "partly, the plumbers had said they'd come back out with some chain part but never did" - I reported this to Tony and said, while you are there can you also finish up the work on the toilet upstairs. He arranges a time with my tenant. I get the bill and it charges me again $175 to fix the toilet (now third time working in that bathroom and I was charged for the visit and the work twice but whatever, hopefully now the toilet is finally fixed once and for all). THEN i get the bill and it only mentions the toilet repair. No mention of the reason I had emailed tony - about the leak in the basement. I pull up the email to Tony and his response and send it to him and say, what about the lack in the basement?. - AND HIS RESPONSE IS: "The tenant didn’t mention anything and I personally entered your last service call to make sure we didn’t screw up" - I said, scroll down in this very email! He then offered to go back out and check the leak in the basement now. So three trips to fix the toilet. Got other random free stuff and now I have to call them out AGAIN to check the leak in the basement that has been now going for 2 months...What more can i do to be clear? I honestly think they are trying to do a good job but have ZERO office staff and their communication lines in the office and also between the office and the men on the site are terrible. They have no communication with the guys they send out there. I'd LOVE to find a reliable plumber but I don't know how to help them anymore. I literally can't be any clearer. UPDATE: One year later the toilet was not working AGAIN. Some issues. It was never fixed. I called Sutherland Plumbing and Shawn replaced the toilet. UGH."

"We have hired Juan fr the last three years to do some major pruning and trimming on our property. I can't speak highly enough of his work! Always on time, does an excellent job (including cleanup!) and very reasonably priced. Juan is a nice guy and very easy to work with. Highly recommended."

Best In Concrete Services has been taking care of your concrete needs since 1991. With our attention to detail we will provide you with quick and prompt service exceeding your expectations. The personal attention to your needs and desires are met no matter how small or large the job. Bill, will be the man you talk to from beginning to end and will guide you through the experience to make sure you get the most of your concrete project.

"Similar to other reviewers on here I feel victim to Bill's predatory tactics. We had him and his wife out to bid the job. At the site walk we laid out everything that we wanted. They provided an estimate that evening, but kept acting as if my clarifying question regarding items we had previously discussed were additions. By the end of the quote phone call the price had gone up $1900. This was during peak covid so getting contractors out to do the work was difficult and we reluctantly decided to move forward with them. The job began rather quickly, and like others we were hit with almost daily requests for incremental payments. It seemed like every day they needed money from us. The concrete work itself looked nice, but communication was erratic. Bill often texted me after 10pm and all throughout the day. The worst thing and the thing I am most embarassed about was his demand for payment in full before the project was finished. Bill was so manipulative and had so many tricks up his sleeve that I eventually just gave in and paid him. This is a decision I still regret and use it as a reminder for how to not engage with contractors. After the bulk of the initial work was done, the excuses set in. There was still hardscaping to do, a handrail to install and a jobsite to clean up. Bill could never commit to arriving on time. When he did arrive to "finish things" he would bring his kids who ran around in my yard, trampling plants and throwing rocks. It took weeks for him to finish the project. The handrail he installed fell apart under the weight of a disabled person simply using it to walk down our stairs. We had a handrail fabricator come out and he said it was one of the worst jobs he had ever seen. One one hand- I have concrete. It is still standing and overall I am happy with it. But the process to get there was h***. I recently asked a neighbor for a concrete contractor recommendation and they said, "ugh we have only had concrete work done once and we would NEVER recommend them to ANYONE." Guess who they used? Never again!"

Dumpster Service questions, answered by experts

Finding the right dumpster rental company for your needs requires interviewing companies to ask about rental timelines, costs, and weight limits. Here are some questions you can ask a dumpster rental company you’re considering:

  • How long are your standard rental contracts? Can I extend it?

  • What is the maximum weight your dumpsters can hold?

  • Does the rental include dumping fees?

  • Do I need a permit, and will you pull it for me?

  • Will you protect my driveway from damage?

The cost for junk removal is $240 on average, but prices can range from $60 to $600. Your total price largely depends on the items you’re having removed. Certain appliances, like window air conditioners, range from $75 to $90 to remove. However, more oversized items, like hot tubs, fall on the expensive side of the range, costing between $200 and $600 for removal. You should also consider the amount and weight of your junk, with most junk removal companies requiring a minimum of 2 cubic yards.

Yes, a roll-off dumpster makes it easier to dispose of waste in an environmentally friendly way. It lets you reduce the amount of waste that makes its way to landfills.

Policies vary on what you can throw in a dumpster rental. Some companies will accept large appliances, although you may need to take steps to prepare the washer and dryer for disposal. Some companies don’t allow large appliances in their dumpsters at all, so it’s best to ask the rental company beforehand to find out what its policy is.

Costs depend on dumpster size, rental duration, waste type, local fees, and additional weight charges.
