"Jackson Construction did a superb job on my kitchen/DR and bath remodels. I'm having them back to possibly add a sunroom and rebuild the front porch. I will try to add some pix if the review form will let me. Quality builder, obviously would use again because I already am. :-)"

"We highly recommend Berper Construction LLC. We listed our project on Angi and literally 5 minutes later we received a call from Gerardo to set up an appointment to look at and give us an estimate. He came over that same day and sent us a bid the very next day. We accepted him and his team to do the work and just over a week later once we got our funds together, they began working on our project and were finished in 2 days! He was very thorough explaining what needed to be done and sent us pictures from Home Depot of different items we needed for the job and let us pick out exactly what we wanted. Always on time, very kind, and honest which is much appreciated. Gerardo made sure that he did the job exactly how we wanted and never did anything without getting our approval first. We love our 9x9 pergola over our hot tub, thank you Gerardo, Edwin, and the rest of your team! We will definitely call again for other projects in the future! :)"

"We have been Choice Home Warranty members for over two years and never had a need to utilize the services until this month. When we called to schedule a service repair person visit our home, the customer service agent was incredibly nice and the service repair man went the extra mile to help us fix our washer machine! Everything about the experience was easy, fast, and friendly! We are so thankful that we decided to choose Choice Home Warranty! Highly recommend them! Happy Holidays everyone!"

Modular and Mobile Home Remodel questions, answered by experts

Most household circuits can handle about 70 strings of 50 standard mini lights, or up to 600 strings of LED lights, which consume less power than the incandescent variety. Make sure to factor in any appliances also running on the circuit.

Consider any additional areas in your home that may need new flooring. Doing them at the same time can help save you the cost of labor service visits. Getting the lines painted on your new court is a quick job. Consider any other rooms of your house that need a fresh coat of paint and combine the service call. If you are running new lines, have the technicians inspect your home’s current wires and pipes for preventative maintenance or to add some new outlets . Make the most out of the time the pro is at your home.

Adding a 12x12 room to your house costs an average of $18,000, and most homeowners pay between $11,500 and $29,000 for the work. Adding a 12x12 room to the second story of your home will run you an average of $57,600 and has a cost range of $43,200 to $72,000. In both cases, prices vary widely based on how you intend to use the room, as well as the fit and finish.

A house should ideally be rewired every 25 years, although some wiring can last up to 40 years. Over time, the insulation around wires can degrade, creating potential fire hazards. Rewiring helps ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with current electrical codes. For homes built before 1960, a full rewiring is often recommended. If you are experiencing issues in a newer house, the problem might be with the electrical panel, which may need an upgrade rather than a full rewiring. To maintain safety, it's also wise to schedule periodic electrical inspections every five to 10 years.

Make sure you’re getting the right size to meet your space needs, including enough space both side to side and vertically to accommodate your RV’s features and allow you to safely move it in and out of the garage.

If you’re building an attached and enclosed garage for your RV, you’ll also want to give some thought to whether you’d like to add workspace, water or electricity, or additional storage. If so, you’ll need a garage with larger dimensions.
