"The two man team arrived right on time at 8:00 am and got started. After lunch additional team members arrived and they all worked together and got the job finished by 4:00 pm. It was an old juniper hedge that needed removing and it was hard work but they did a great job and managed to get all the old roots and stumps out. Plus the entire team was incredibly polite and good-natured. I also thought the pricing was entirely fair and wouldn't hesitate to use their services again in the future. Good job Nissi !"

Small jobs welcome

"We hired Pinnacle for a concrete project and a fence project. Andrew and Mike came up with creative solutions to make both projects work in spite of uneven ground, rocks in the clay, and a sloping property line. The concrete pad next to the deck is a beautiful home for our new hot tub - and they installed a French drain too! The horizontal plank fence surrounding our property is absolutely gorgeous and expertly constructed. 100 degree weather understandably added some time to the fence project but they worked hard when they could and the results are beautiful. Bids were very detailed, contracts signed electronically, great communication before and during projects, creative modifications and solutions, and very friendly and professional. Highly recommend. Looking forward to hiring Pinnacle for ongoing projects."

Customers say: True professional

"Carlos and his crew did an excellent job installing a sprinkler system with the latest smart controller. They also created a nice smoothly sloped yard and installed new turf. The workmanship and communication was superb. I appreciate that Carlos was very involved with his crew during the project and they all demonstrated pride in their workmanship. They cleaned the job site when they were done. My neighbors are complimenting how nice it looks. They even offered to plant a tree I had just purchased at no extra cost. Carlos and his crew went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with the outcome!"

Artistic Landscapes installed front/sides/backyard irrigation, grass, plants, trees.  They installed a 7 zone irrigation system and took the time to properly position and install all the components so we have awesome grass irrigation and drip plant areas.  They brought in good soil and did a good job prepping everything.  They also cleaned up the area under our deck and installed a wood border and filled it with rocks so we don't have to deal with weeds under there.  Robert suggested contractors for installing our fence and for pouring our cement stairs and path, so those were handled separately.  He brought in decorative boulders and created a beautiful and appealing design with the plants.  He and his team didn't complain about working with the slopes on our yard.  They went the extra mile when we asked them to prepare a play area for our play structure and trampoline.  They had to install a rubber eco-border and dig a pit and fill it with crushed rock and gravel and compact it so we can install rubber tiles.  Robert was patient during our initial design process when we were changing our minds and trying to fit things into our budget.  We are more than pleased with the result and our beautiful new yard. Also wanted to mention that they left the work area clean every day.  They did show up promptly every day around 7-8am.  It was a 4 week job.  It was obviously expensive but I gave it an A on cost because I believe it was competitive pricing and they did the job well.  I felt confident in hiring them since I found them on Angie's List.

"Superior Building Concepts crew arrived and introduced themselves. They began work at once which included removing a temporary wall of 2x6's and plywood covering the opening where a sliding door was to be installed. Some of the exterior of the metal siding had to be removed and some trimming of boards to open the wall bay for them to install a 13'H by 12'W. The door track was installed and the metal sheeting cut to fit around to frame and finish nicely. The door frame was assembled and installed and it opens and closes very smoothly. During the job, the metal was wiped down to remove any particles with a soft cloth including the track metal cover. The white trim was totally clean and spotless and as you know we just had a tremendous amount of rain creating mud in some of their work area. They cleaned up the work area and then asked if I wanted the plywood they removed moved. The plywood in now nicely stacked on my property and I don't have to look any longer at the aging plywood on my arena. It looks great!

"I had a small job, removing window air conditioners, and they did that for me and took the conditioners to the garage for storage. It's hard to get someone to come to your place for a small job. They did what I needed and were friendly and responsive to emails and texts. Everything went as expected and I would definitely use them again."

"Nick and his crew member Chase did a fantastic job to clean our moss-covered concrete roof. You can't just let anyone clean a concrete roof and they knew what they were doing. They were on time, professional and offered other services. My roof looks amazing and neighbors have asked for Nick's info. Nick's business is now listed in our HOA Preferred Provider list as a qualified contractor for power washing, gutter and roof cleaning services. Thank you Nick and Chase!!"

Alex Freddi Construction is an outstanding company to work with. Alex was very prompt with his estimate, was easy to talk with about design ideas for our space and really wanted to make us satisfied customers throughout our project. He encourages you to ask questions and understand everything before starting the project. Our project manager Bob and his partner Bill were just top notch. They were on time, pros, clean and efficient. They both have extensive knowledge in the construction business and communication with them was easy. Bob and Bill's work ethic and daily attention to our questions and concerns was wonderful. We wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future.

Bob was easy to talk with, open to ideas and calm throughout the ups and downs of our remodel...which were very few considering the extent of it. Bob has experience in custom cabinets and woodworking. He was invaluable to us since we assembled Barker cabinets and then Bob installed the cabinets plus added gorgeous trim and crown molding. Bill is a pro and has installed hundreds of hardware floors and brings years of framing experience to a project. He worked long and hard making sure that the floor was done well. They used so many varied skills during our project - they were truly an amazing team. We had a kitchen remodel done plus other varied projects and after 9 weeks we still like them! Also, we want to include a special mention of our experience with ProDesign Solutions in Tigard - an Alex recommendation. They were just the best - Suzanne's and Jean's color sense was just spot-on as was their patience and excellent input while we were deciding what we wanted for flooring and tile. They are the best in customer service.

Because of Alex, Bob and Bill's professionalism and work ethic plus based on what we know of other remodels, we are incredibly happy to have worked with Alex's company.

Trampoline Assembly questions, answered by experts

If you want to know from the outset how much you’re likely to pay to install an outdoor basketball court, create a budget breakdown that lists the following expenses:

  • Labor: How many work hours will you need, and what is the average price of labor in your area?

  • Materials: What material do you plan to use, and what is the average price per square foot?

  • Drainage, grading, and laying cement slabs: Do you need to level or prep your area? Have a professional evaluate your property to determine what you will need to pay a contractor to do this work.

  • Hoops, lighting, fencing, painting lines, and other extras: What extras are non-negotiable? Create a list of all of the extras you want your court to have.

The average cost to install a playground is around $500, with most homeowners spending between $150 and $1,200 on installation labor. The total project cost can range from $500 to $2,500. These prices typically do not include the playground equipment itself, which can cost an additional $100 to $1,500.

Several factors influence the final installation cost:

  • Playset Details: The type, size, material, design complexity, and number of accessories.

  • Site Preparation: Costs may increase if the land needs to be leveled.

  • Yard Accessibility: Difficult access for installers can raise labor costs.

  • Customization: Custom-built playgrounds are more expensive to install than premade kits.

  • Permits: Local permitting fees may apply.

Additionally, remember to budget for playground surfacing, which can cost $15 to $160 per cubic yard, or up to $225 per cubic yard for poured rubber.

Whether an in-ground or a portable basketball hoop is better depends on the available space and its usage. For hoops that will experience frequent play, an in-ground basketball goal will be a more durable option. On the other hand, a portable basketball hoop can be the better option for smaller spaces that can’t have a permanent hoop installed.

There are many different types of basketball hoops available to choose from.

  • Portable hoops are fully moveable and generally do not require assistance with assembly.

  • Semi-portable in-ground hoops have an anchor cemented in the ground and a removable post.

  • In-ground hoops are fully built into the ground as one piece and cannot be relocated after placement.

  • Wall-mounted hoops do not have a post or pole and work well when space is limited.

Generally speaking, building a swing set is cheaper than buying a prefabricated one, but this assumes you have all the tools and knowledge to complete the project. The average cost to build a swing set is $514, but you should also factor in the time and effort it will require—if you don’t want to give up your weekend, it’s worth considering buying instead of building.
