"Professional, punctual and efficient. After nearly two years of contractors never calling back TWT Paving showed up, gave a bid and then did the work the same day! Working with them was a positive experience and the quality of the work was outstanding."

"The community I live in have private roads and it is our tesponsibility to maintain them. The community is mountainous which requires constant repairs due to "moving hillsides", freezing conditions and normal traffic. As president of our association, we have selected Custom Paving to do repairs to the roads for the last 3 years. His work is very good and prices are fair. I would highly recommend Custom Paving for your asphalt needs."

Paving Services questions, answered by experts

A pallet of pavers will cost about $300 to $700 per pallet. Each pallet covers about 56 square feet. The specific price you pay per pallet of pavers will depend on a few factors, including the type of paver you’re buying, the size and shape of the pavers, and how many pavers you need. In some cases, you’ll spend less per pallet if you’re buying in bulk for very large paver patios.

When asphalt cures, it typically changes from a very dark black hue to a lighter, more matte gray color. Cured asphalt also won’t be tacky or sticky to the touch or emit any odors from the asphalt mix. Additionally, the surface of fully cured asphalt won’t deform under any pressure.

Gravel is the cheapest way to extend a driveway. Gravel is an affordable, practical option that’s easy to install and perfect for DIY projects, helping you save on labor costs. It can be quickly spread and leveled to create extra driveway space without heavy preparation. While gravel doesn’t offer the same durability or finished look as concrete or asphalt, its low cost makes it ideal for budget-conscious homeowners who want a functional solution without overspending.

An ideal driveway gradient is between 2% and 5%. Anything lower than 1% or higher than 15% can cause problems for your car or property. A driveway with less than a 1% slope increases your likelihood of flooding and water damage, while a driveway with a 15% grade or higher can be too steep for safe traveling.

Quality pavers and correct installation handle temperature variations. Proper maintenance is crucial in severe climates to prevent issues like heaving.
