"Referred to us by Cabinet Cures, Taylor at Innovative Painting Pros, visited our home to see what the job would entail. Taylor gave us approximate bids based on hourly rates and felt they job would take les time than he estimated. We hired Innovative to paint the inside of the cabinets. Steve came out and did a very good job. The next job was performed by Theo. He was charged to paint the kitchen walls without over painted on our new re-faced cabinets. Theo came in and got right to painting. No taping off where the ceiling and walls met, or around the cabinets. I call it free hand painting. I had never seen anything like this when painting around other materials such as wood cabinets. Theo was so steady in painting straight lines that when he was finished the end result was better than had another painter come in, tapped off the area, then pulled the tape off to reveal paint seeping behind the tape. "Charles and team are amazing! This is the second time we've worked with him, and he didn't disappoint. We needed to do a major renovation of our kitchen to accommodate family members with disabilities. We had fairly specific design requirements, which involved raising the ceiling, adding structural support to one wall to create an archway, and adding another wall to allow for more cabinet space. After signing the contract with Charles, we realized we also needed to have our entire plumbing infrastructure replaced because of rusty pipes. We scheduled the plumbing work to happen before the kitchen project began so it wouldn't be an issue with the new appliances. The plumbing work left us with holes in the drywall in several rooms, plus a bathroom that needed to be gutted and rebuilt. Charles was amenable to adding the bathroom remodel to the kitchen contract--and we were amazed at how he was able to fit all of the additional bathroom work into the original kitchen schedule. Work finished on the exact date he'd targeted. He was also very accommodating of us in several other instances where we basically grew the scope of the project as it progressed. We are thrilled with the results and are planning to have him do a couple of smaller projects once we get our kitchen unpacked. Charles has two major strengths as a contractor that have made us want to hire him multiple times. The first is that he is an excellent craftsman. He is able to think through complicated designs and then execute them impeccably. The second is that he stays on top of every detail of the project and runs it like clockwork. Once work starts, he doesn't stop until it's done. His subs clearly value working with him; they show up exactly when they are supposed to and keep at it in order to finish in time for the next phase of work. Even when Charles isn't on-site while subs are working, he knows the exact status of their progress and keeps things moving until everything is finished. Charles is often booked out several months, but he is worth the wait!"

"Carlos and his team did a fantastic job. They are very hard-working and friendly. The entire project took them longer than expected due to tough wallpapers (multiple layers on top of each other) and we had to go above the estimate (both time and cost) due to that but overall, they were clean and professional. They were very careful with masking and made sure that all floors/cabinets/doors/stairs/counters were covered properly. Instead of orange peel, we decided to go with knock-down and they did a really good job. They accommodated all our extra requests as well."

"I called Walt yesterday to replace two ceiling fixtures in my home.  He quoted me a price of $80 which was below what I had paid last time to someone else who had a $95 charge just to show up.  Walt and his wife arrived promptly at 11:00 AM and did the work.  They were friendly and did a great job.  One of the fixtures was a difficult install and they had everything needed to make adjustments in order to complete the installation.  I would definitely use them again.  They even hauled away the old fixtures for an additional small charge.  I highly recommend Walt's Handyman Inc. to anyone who needs work done for them.  UPDATE:  I did use them again and again was ver pleased.  This was another ceiling light installation and they were quick and efficient.  No extra charge to get rid of the horrid ceiling fan for me either.  I will be calling them again when I redo the kitchen lighting."
