No reminder or follow-up calls from Main office. Main office would not answer calls, nor did I receive call back after leaving message. Tech's were late - no calls.

On day 1 they removed (sucked out) 3 levels (and three different types) of insulation. They were very neat and cleaned up afterward. They showed me pictures of the cleared attic. On day 2 they blew in new insulation, sealed an unused vent (which was causing a draft) and installed a new attic hatch (old one was broken, unsealed and not insulated causing a draft). Everything was done as agreed and in the timeline expected. They are also a partner with Energy Trust of Oregon which is a bonus.

We re-sided our 1929 house recently, and during the tear-off phase it was the perfect time to have blown-in insulation performed to insulate our exterior walls. Ryan and his crew worked quickly and we are so much more comfortable with our walls finally insulated. We had a minor repair needed as a result of the drilling, and the company worked quickly to resolve it to our satisfaction. I will happily recommend them to others, and feel like this project pays for itself quickly in terms of energy efficiency and comfort.

This took a couple years to fully complete as I have a Hip (Jack)-roof. The structure blocked off the last 4 feet from the end of the house, where the secondary roof takes over. Unfortunately, voids were inevitable because of all the obstructive joists etc. The next winter this was evident as the snow had melted over the areas that had no insulation. I took pictures, and Ryan sent a crew back to try again. I was happy, but the next winter showed the same voids. A week or so ago, I took out eve boards and found the void(s). Insulated it myself, but realized other end of roof would have the same issue. Called Ryan and he agreed (2 years later mind you) to fill it in for me. Then I drilled a small hole and put a bore-camera in and discovered all center bats had voids of 2 feet or so the length of the house. I scrambled (the night before appointment) and used a hole saw and cut out 7 additional holes through the 2x4 blocks. Too late to call that night and inform them of my new discoveries, I called (almost) first thing next morning to explain the job had gotten a little bigger than a 4x4 foot area. Once he understood the scope of project, Ryan said (as my doorbell was ringing) that they would do whatever needed to be done; just let them know, and call him with any issues. The workers figured out ways to get into the small openings with their hoses and made it work. Didn't argue, very respectful and stuck to it. I couldn't have been more relieved. Thank you for helping me with this issue of 30 years! I just knew my house was cold in winter, and hot in summer. I missed a chance to inspect this area when a roofing job would have allowed me to remove plywood and insulate it then, (as the original builder should have done). This was a "Good 'Cents' Home" from the '70s (PGE program) when insulation was being used to save energy. They just "missed a spot". Thanks everyone. Now my home finally makes 'Cents'!

They did agreat job.

I hired this company to redo the crawlspace including clean out the old debris that would continue to rot and cause further damage to the house foundation. They charged me full price and raised prices while at our job from $500 to $1000 just to show up when i requested they come back to clean all the debris left. I hired another company to encapsulate this same crawl 6 months later and they removed 6 full contractors garbage backs of debris that was left behind by NW Weatherization. I called & sent pictures. NW showed up to investigate yet offered me a $50 refund for my trouble. It was insulting but i took it & good riddance. I would not recommend to a friend.

The team arrived on time and were very cooperative. They also were very careful to protect hardwood floors and stairs. When the work was finished, they cleaned the areas where they worked so that we did not need to do anything extra after they left. Kevin, the estimator, explained our ventilation system (or lack thereof) and gave us good advice for a future project. We will definitely work with them again.

Although we have not decided yet if we will go ahead with the project at this point, the contractor was very responsive in scheduling a quote, showed up on time and gave me a very thorough explanation of what work they would do. Unlike another contractor who came out for a quote, the NW Weatherization representative brought a heat camera which showed that two of the three walls I was concerned about were already insulated; the other contractor simply gave me an estimate for doing the three walls, so it was much higher. I was impressed with this company's professionalism and competence, and will contact them if we go ahead with this project.

Northwest Weatherization just finished blowing insulation into my attic. I am so satisfied with their work and professionalism! From the initial quote to the finished work, all of the crew were polite, professional, and helpful. They left my house looking exactly the way it was before they came, and they finished the job quickly.

They responded with a phone call the same day I sent them an e-mail. A salesman/estimator (Kevin) came to our home a few days later on a day & time that WE set. The job was scheduled for one week later. The installation crew arrived on time, and went right to work. They were pleasant, professional and focused. Dylan headed-up the crew, and Kevin came with them to ensure there were no questions, miscommunications, etc. The work was performed on-time and on-budget. Clean-up was quick & thorough. They completed and submitted the application for an Oregon Energy Trust incentive/rebate that will return approx. $630.00 to us.

Ryan was easy to work with and helped walk through what we needed and why (more attic insulation that we were not aware we needed). The attic insulation crew worked efficiently did a good job of cleaning up. The crew that came later to work in the crawl space found a couple of ducts that needed replacing (which was very evident when they brought the old ones out). They took out all the old duct insulation and put on new. They cleaned up sufficiently after the work was done. We have noticed a big difference in the efficiency of our heat pump and the house is staying cooler longer before the heat pump kicks on.

Ryan estimated the job. He arrived on time, viewed the area, and provided a bid. I had another company scheduled to bid and he agreed that I should receive more than one bid. There was not pressure. Once my decision was made to hire NW Weatherization, I contacted Ryan and was scheduled in a few days. The crew arrived ( Daniel and Benito) on time, laid plastic on my floor from the front door to the access door. They were very professional and thorough. After the work was completed, Daniel took pictures of the finished work and thoroughly explained everything. For such a messy job, my home was left just as it was when they arrived. I highly recommend NW Weatherization for there honesty, integrity, knowledge, and professionalism.

Max and Justin were professional and they added 'blow-in' fiberglass insulation to the attic to make the depth up to R38. Justin swept the garage floor where some insulation was on it. I would recommend Northwest Weatherization in Hillsboro, Oregon to anyone wanting more insulation in the attic.

Project went great. Estimator who came and bid the job was professional and prompt with communication when we had questions about the bid. Crew was also professional on the day of insulation. After the job was completed they submitted our Energy Trust paperwork and we received our incentive within 6 weeks as expected. Overall a really good experience, and highly recommended.
