Forest Landscape, Inc is proud to present our customs landscapes for your home.We are a landscape company that emphasizes more then your typical, run-of-the mill projects that take up space within your neighborhood.
"We recently expanded a deck, added a patio cover, and are putting a hot tub underneath this second floor deck. There was a concrete patio below the existing deck and we wanted to match that, w/ reinforcement for a hot tub. We got a couple bids for the job. Danny was the estimator that came out for Forest and he seemed knowledgeable and was punctual and professional. It was not the cheapest bid, but the company is much more well established than a couple others we consulted so I put more trust in their work. Rigo is the guy we needed to work with on scheduling etc. for concrete work. This was a little rocky at first, but that had a lot to do with us needing to postpone the start till our deck was done, but then also work around a vacation we'd be taking, and make sure the concrete had enough time to cure before our hot tub is dropped. Despite a slight language barrier, we worked it out and even managed to get it done ahead of when we originally scheduled it. Punctuality is impressive with these guys. For 3 days they were waiting outside our house to start at 7:30am precisely. They had to remove a portion of fence and work around some foliage for access. They ended up encountering an unexpected drainage tube of some kind while digging and made sure to create an access point for us if it's ever needed in the future. The concrete looks great and matches our old patio so well, it's hard to tell they weren't poured together. Danny and I (and later Rigo) discussed treating the old concrete to help the matching. At the end of the work they did a great job of cleaning up the area and returning everything to normal. Rigo also helped us by showing us how to remove the fence portion for when our hot tub is delivered and left the top cap off because he said we'd really struggle to get it off if they put it back. I'm happy with the work, communication, and cleanup and trust if there are any problems I will be able to get them resolved. If we have further landscape needs in the future I will def be calling Forest for a bid."

Established in 1997. Cascade Fence and Deck has evolved to become the leading local fence and deck businesses for the amount of reviews we have online. For the last 27 years, our team has been setting a new bar for customer service and satisfaction in the Portland Metro Area. Our recipe for customer service success is by having a tremendous team that truly cares about each other and the customers we work for. Our culture has been first and foremost for us and what we have found is "Happy employees = Happy customers".
"Worked with Cascade Fence and Deck to rebuild a pergola on our side porch. Great communication throughout the planning process. Started by sending a little video in. Kory and David came out a couple of times to take a look at the job site and discuss the build. They put together an impressively detailed rendering of the structure to be built, and adjusted it based on our feedback. Their quote was competitive - enough that we added aluminum handrails on our front stairs to the project. Mike and his crew arrived on the date the project was set to start. They were professional, organized, efficient, and kept a very clean work site. We appreciated their attention to detail carefully removing beams that were improperly affixed to the side of our house and placing blocking to properly install brackets for the new beams. They did a great job putting up the new structure and restoring the siding of our home, and left a very light touch on the fragile shale porch tiling and our yard. Excited to get the structure stained/sealed and the siding painted when we get a few dry days here in rainy Tacoma. Absolutely recommend Cascade and we would certainly work with them again if we need any similar work done."

Yes, you should confirm that the fencing installer you hire is insured before proceeding with the job. In most cases they do not need a specific fencing license, but rather a general contractor’s license. Hiring a licensed contractor protects you as a homeowner from fraud, poor work, and potential legal woes.

Fence installers typically charge by the hour when working on a project. Typically, you can expect to pay around $50 per hour for fence installation. Your project might take anywhere from 24 to 72 hours, depending on the length of your fence, overall project complexity, and fence type.
Answered by Angi Experts
The average cost to install a fence is between $1,760 and $4,500. These costs are what an average homeowner spends, but you might spend more or less depending on several factors. For a smaller DIY project, you might get away with spending as little as $430, or for a much larger project (like fencing for a 5-acre yard), you can spend in excess of $43,000.
Besides the size of your yard, other factors like your fence material, fence height, site prep, and additional fence features like gates all impact the overall cost. Additionally, the high cost of raw materials and manufacturing can all make the overall price tag higher.

The overall cost of a fence project depends on numerous factors, including the size of your yard, fence material, fence height, site preparation, and additional features like gates.
Answered by Carlos Martinez at CLM Home Improvements in New Carrollton, MD on 01/20/25
Specific pricing varies drastically based on material choices and options. Length of fence, height, and gate options all are contributing factors that will determine the overall cost of a fence. Typically a per foot price can be given that ranges from $20-$50 per linear foot for installations.
Answered by Todd Rosier at A Plus Fencing Solutions in Yakima, WA on 01/08/25
It all depends on the specifications of the fence, such as linear footage, gate installations, demolition and haul-off, and other factors.
Answered by Connor Andrews at Craftsman Fence, LLC in Kirkland, WA on 01/22/25
It depends on the type of fence, the scope of work, and other factors.

Before you hire a fence installer to build you the fence of your dreams for your yard, it’s important to set expectations up front by asking questions. Some questions to consider include:
Do you offer a warranty?
Do you offer financing or a payment plan?
Do you have references?
Do you have photos of previous work?
What type of fencing materials do you work with?

Do you have references?
Are all fasteners exterior (galvanized)?
How deep are you concreting the post?
What is the lowest maintenance fencing?
How will you deal with slopes?

Only some fences require a permit to build. Factors like where you live, how tall your fence will be, and where in your yard you plan to build all impact the need to have a permit. Below are a few examples of when a permit is needed; it’s always best to check with your fence installer to confirm if a permit is required.
Generally, if you live somewhere rural, like on a farm, there’s a good chance you will not need a fence permit. However, you will most likely need a permit if you live in a highly-populated area. In addition, many privacy fences in your backyard won’t need a permit if it is 6 feet or shorter. However, you might need a permit for anything over 3.5 feet in your front yard.

Any solid panels over 8 feet in height will require a permit, while a 2-foot lattice top on a 6-foot fence does not require a permit.
Answered by Connor Andrews at Craftsman Fence, LLC in Kirkland, WA on 01/22/25
Permit requirements can vary, so it's best to check with your county and municipality. Your fence contractor should be able to help confirm the specific requirements.

If you are digging in the ground, then yes. If it's just a repair with no digging, then no.
