It had a loop, but it was perpendicular to the direction needed. Phoned and described what I needed done. Ron said to bring it over and when I did, he gave me different possible ways to make it work. Two surprises . . . 1) it was brass, not iron. Baking had created a deep grey patina, 2) it was ready the next morning. If you want a true craftsman who knows what he doing, don’t hesitate to call Curtis Custom Welding."
