"We had some very scary trees hanging over our house and with winter comming we needed them delt with. They got us a quote fast that was definitely reasonable and we're out the next week to do the work. The owner Guy walked us through what would happened, to reassure me that my house was not gonna be in harms way. He took down the trees effortlessly and cleaned up like nothing ever happened. Definitely gonna call them back when I'm ready to do some more clean up around my property. Very pleased with the services he provides and the knowledge he has. Thank you!"

"They did an excellent job arriving on time Friday morning. They were finished before 8:30 and cleaned up well. We were impressed by their knowledge pertaining to tree species and when pruning should be done. We will hire again in the fall."

"Stu did a fantastic job pruning my trees and shrubs and finishing everything off with a fresh mulch install. He was affordable, trustworthy, and took pride in doing the work the right way. My yard looks so much better and more polished. Highly recommend him if you’re looking for quality arborist work!"

"Fast and efficient at removing two trees from our backyard. It was amazing watching these three guys work, you could tell they have their system down working together. Had the trees down in under two hours, cleaned everything up and I couldn't be happier with the service and price. As long as this company is in business, I will always go through them. Beyond awesome, thank you!!!"

"They removed 2 mature trees in my front lawn. One was between my house and my neighbors. They were very diligent about where the limbs would be dropped and how to lay the trunk. They needed to clear a decorative light post, the 2 houses and a parking area in the common area. Skilled, quick, and cleaned up the area."

"Exceeded all expectations. Very efficient and careful. This was a very technical job. 3 trees ( blue spruce, and 2 different types of juniper twisted together) were planted too close together and he had to battle his way to the top and then work his way down. I have done my fair share of climbing, but I am 73 years old now and can't do the work anymore. His focus on safety was impresive to this former OSHA coordinator. Do yourself a favor and let these wonderful people fix your yad problems. And yes there is more for them to do here so they will be back."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Trees don’t usually grow back after being cut down. Some particularly robust tree species may start sending up new stems from a stump to recover, but those stems won’t become a “tree” like before. Generally, trees don’t recover from being entirely cut down, which is why it’s important to be careful when making a decision. When you cut down a tree, it’s a good idea to make plans to remove the stump, even if it’s unlikely to grow back.

The Christmas tree type that smells the best to you will ultimately depend on personal preference. But if that classic Christmas tree smell is important to you, choosing a type of tree known for its scent is a safe bet. Try a balsam fir for a spicy, comforting scent or a Douglas fir for a sweeter smell. You may also like Fraser firs, Scotch pines, and blue spruces.

Unlike some fruit trees, such as apple, sweet cherry, or pear that require at least two trees for pollination, most peach trees are self-pollinating. This means you can plant just one tree and still expect it to produce fruit, typically within two to four years. For best results, consult with a local landscaper to choose the right peach tree variety for your specific climate, soil type, and yard layout.

The best plan of action for an unhealthy or unsafe tree will depend on its condition. An arborist can recommend whether trimming or removal is the right call for your tree. Preventive tree trimming can keep trees safe and healthy, so make regular tree trimming a part of your yard maintenance plan.

There are a few differences between tree guying and tree staking. Tree guying requires anchor stakes that are shorter and stronger than regular stakes and are driven deeper into the ground at an angle away from the tree. Tree staking uses longer stakes that are set parallel to the tree and are used for smaller trees. Consult a local tree professional to determine which method is best for your tree.
