"Provider showed up on time even on icy roads. He was courteous and efficient - going to work right away. The job, albeit not large, took only 4 hours and included covering all furniture and taping off all trim. His work was outstanding. New plaster must be fully dry and cured before painting. The drying time for plaster ranges from 1 to 4 hours, but the curing process can take more than five days, depending on various factors, including humidity levels, temperature, the amount of plaster used, and airflow in the area. You should always apply primer before painting plaster.

It is more difficult to drywall a ceiling than it is to drywall a wall, but not so hard that DIYers can’t tackle it. One of the main issues with hanging drywall on your ceiling is getting it into place. Drywall isn’t light so, if you are hanging full drywall panels, you will need at least two (it’s better with more) people to hold the panel while you drill it into the ceiling as a single piece can weigh between 40 and 60 pounds and will need to be held in place for up to 10 minutes.
