Tulsa Christian bros painting

I hired Paint brothers to paint my house and shed and replace any rotted wood. The paint job I got was absolutely horrible and the work on my shed was never completed. I can see right through the new paint where the old paint was scraped off. The wood is bumpy and uneven and just looks awful. Several spots were missed completely and overspray on my rock was never cleaned up. I asked for areas to be resprayed, they got offended and never came back. When asking when they would be back to complete the job, fist I got excuses, then no reply, then they snuck into my yard unannounced to collect the tools they’d left. I hired them two months ago and have a house that needs repainting and a shed with 3 sides. I paid as agreed every step of the way and did not get what I paid for.

This company painted my house and within 2 years my paint started peeling. Contacted them and they ignore my calls and repeated requests to fix my paint. The paint is supposed to be 15-year paint.

Some communication issues caused the project to take longer than expected after multiple no-show days, but once they got going everything proceeded well. Very pleased with the end product and would definitely consider them first for our next paint project.

did not deliver on written agreement. Painter showed up washed house on day one. rainy weather delayed painting. Agreement stated light scrapping that was not accomplished, once started sprayed on ONE THICK coat. When I questioned the painter I was told that's the way it is done, any painter know one thick coat is a no-no. They have been trying to collect the balance and I have been pointing out workmanship flaws. They said they would be corrected but always have to reschedule. Stated after paint was applied that no primer is necessary on bare wood areas, but then changed their statement telling me primer costed extra. Sloppy Business. I doubt that they will honor their 2 yr. warranty If they cannot fix the initial flaws.

My Husband and I were extremely pleased with this company.  Darren, the estimator was fair, Tim, the field manager was thorough in his explanation of the service(s) scheduled, Carlos and his assistant, the painters, were friendly, answered questions, timely, efficient and displayed exceptional workmanship and quality service. Thank you everyone for making our experience a good one.

They did an excellent job. I would definitely use them again. Had several favorable comments on the great paint job.

Did not prep as they said they would. Nail holes were not filled in, caulking was not done. Did not properly cover up furniture. Last day here they were rushing to finish job and ended up being here till 8pm and did not clean up afterwards. Had to contact next day because there was still quit a bit of touch up that needed done that I was not able to see thenight before because of lifting. Was told the original quote was for one coat of paint on the walls even though it did not state that on the contract. The walls definitely needed second coat of paint. Was told it would be extra because they had to buy more paint. No extra paint was bought. As a matter of fact there was 2 gallons left over. Did not start on the date they were scheduled. Was told they wasn't finished with their current job and they didn't want to pull the crew or hurry them up so they could do a good job. But rushed through my job. Got paint all over my desk chair and did not say anything.

Price was a bit higher than some but in the middle overall. Had quotes from $1900-$5100. Project included pressure wash, scraping, some wood replacement/repair, caulking of all joints, painting with quality satin finish Sherwin Williams exterior. One color change for front door. Prep was done in one day. Wood repairs and 95% of painting done day two. Finish painting and clean up morning of day three. Great quality and workers. TCB coordinated schedule with gutter company so painting was done after gutters came down and then new gutters were installed after painting completed.

Very responsive.  Able to set up quote walk thru within 2 business days.  Quote in hand that day.  Called to schedule next day.  Actually called twice a day until we did schedule.
Work performed within a week of the quote.
Wasn't the best price, but they were the shortest duration.  Since the job was going to cover all of our common areas, we wanted this done quickly.  For roughly 1000sqft of walls & ceilings (no trim) it was all done within 1.75 days, which means only one evening of inconvenience.
Painting was well done with maybe half a dozen "oopies" where they got a noticeable amount of paint on the trim, a smoke detector, etc.  All of our furniture, flooring, and other big items were well protected and came through 100% clean.
The crew used our hose out back to clean up it seems, which would not have been a big deal in the warmer months or if they had returned it to its original condition (disconnected and insulating cover installed).  Thankfully my son found this before the next freeze.
The crew who did my work had Texas plates on their van, so I suspect "Tulsa" Christian Brothers uses temp/contract labor rather than permanent local crews.  The Texas plates also might explain why they did not think to disconnect the hose.

Really professional guy gave estimate and set the guys up for the first day on the job. Price was negotiable and seemed to be dependent on whether the company had other jobs for their guys to work on. The 2 guys who did the job were Hispanic, and I had some trouble communicating with them while they were on the job. It took them quite awhile to actually complete it, but I think the results and price were very good. I wish they could have worked a little more efficiently- showed up kind of late each morning, took long lunch breaks, then left around 5:00. So the whole project took about 2.5 days when I was expecting 1.5.
I am a perfectionist, and I did have to be assertive and point out any places where I felt needed work. They made some mistakes in a few places, but nothing egregious. The guys were willing to accommodate where I had issues.

The office was very responsive from during the estimate and painting job. I got several estimates from several painting companies and felt that Christian Bros were competitive. They were the best out of all of them as far as contacting me both proactively before the contract was signed and during the project. I liked the team of workers that did the actual work. They were very respectful and professional. Over all I was very pleased and would definitely recommend them. The only thing that I think they could improve on would be how responsive they were after the job was finished. I had a couple of runs on two doors. Not the worse thing in the world except one was in my kitchen and its very visable from everywhere, because I have an open floor plan. I called twice and left messages and never was contacted. They were uber responsive before and during the project but then not responsive after. That was a little disappointing to an otherwise positive experience. Still recommend them tho.

Provider showed up on time even on icy roads. He was courteous and efficient - going to work right away. The job, albeit not large, took only 4 hours and included covering all furniture and taping off all trim. His work was outstanding. I would not hesitate to use Tulsa Christian Bros again - they provide an amazing value in home painting!
