"After fighting Grub Worms and Moles and spending hundreds of dollars on fixes that did not work, Express Pest Services came here and in 72 hours...poof....moles gone! Once the animals and their young are out of the house, remove the nest and locate any entry points. Some may be difficult to find because some animals can fit through very small holes. Once you’ve located as many entry points as possible, use materials such as metal or masonry to block off the entry. Ideally, you should choose materials that most animals cannot chew through. Create a one-way door or flap to allow animals to leave but not return.   • Seal entry points, such as where your chimney meets your house, or other gaps or holes exist.

  • Use bat deterrents like bright lights or ultrasonic devices to force them away from your home. 

  • Reduce bat attractions like standing water and bird nectar feeders inviting bats into your yard.

Luckily, spiders rarely “infest” a home like many other pests. They don’t tend to live in groups except when first born, and prefer their space. But you can prevent them from gaining entry by making sure your home is well-sealed and free of other insects. You can also lay down barrier sprays or powders designed to repel or kill spiders. Professionals can also lay down these barriers to prevent future spider problems.

If there is food sources and other places to build a nest, wasps may come back after their nest is gone. However, if you take measures to repel wasps, like planting pest-repellent plants or sealing cracks and gaps around the outside of your home, they aren’t likely to return. Be diligent at checking for new nests each spring to get rid of them as soon as possible and prevent bigger swarms of wasps in your yard.

You should not see live bed bugs after heat or fumigation treatments, but you may see dead bugs. For chemical treatments, it can take several days for bed bugs to die. However, you may see live bed bugs if they are hiding in areas to avoid insecticides or if they are resilient to the type of treatment used.
