Our A/C quit and I thought the problem was the thermostat so I changed it. The unit did not run. I wanted a company that served Eastern OK County & checked Angie's List on-line. Advent is in Choctaw OK and has a superior rating. I know why, now! The tech was running late and called to let me know, which I appreciate. When he arrived, I explained what I had done, saying that I had found the brown wire broken and reconnected it. He traced the wires and got the unit working. What really impressed me was that he doubled checked the unit at the heat pump and found that it was heating, not cooling. He went back to the furnace & thermostat, removed the brown wire, and reversed 2 other wires. He was very patient with me and answered all of my questions. I really enjoyed this experience. Two years ago, when I was very sick, I was "hooked" into a costly plumbing problem by a local contractor. I'll check Angie's List first. Oh, by the way, the original thermostat was defective and the one I installed was good. Thanks Angie, thank you Advent!!!"

"Brandon came out and gave me an estimate to do the job. I agreed to the price and he agreed to come out on a Saturday. On Saturday morning I discovered a leak under a bathroom sink. I phoned and said he needed to bring tools to care for that problem. He showed up at 11am and stayed till after 5pm and took care of everything. He was clean and neat, polite and mindful of my pets who hung around him all day. I would recommend him for any job you need done. He will stay till everything is finished and not charge you for more time."

"They did a whole house electrical inspection a couple of months ago, and they even changed out burned out light bulbs for me.  I give them a B on the price; they're a little high, but they do a good job.  I didn't even ask them; they just said have you got any extra bulbs, we will change them out for you. They weren't repairing anything, they were just inspecting to make sure my electrical system was working.  I've had an air conditioner, a heater, a whole house generator, and a whole house humidifier put in by them.  They do annual electric and plumbing inspections as well as heat and air inspections, they are always extremely nice and do a good job when they do an installation, and I appreciate the inspections that are free.  They did an inspection last winter on the heater, but no work actually.  When they installed the new heater, it's worked just fine.  They just inspect it on a yearly basis."
