Our History He and I Construction, Inc. originated from the aspirations of Al Alfaro and his wife Lucille in March of 1995. After working for a construction company from the late 1980's through the early 1990's, Al decided to enter the construction business with the help of his wife Lucille. He and I Construction, Inc. started as a company specializing in refurbishing and building homes, and hardwood floor installation. The central office and storage was located at the Alfaro's home, and based out of the garage. As the company developed and became incorporated in 1998, it began to take on the responsibility of a general contractor, growing into a company specializing in design/build, maintenance and renovation contracting. Now, He and I Construction offers general construction services to the Southwest Region of the United States, while looking to expand in additional regions. Our Mission •To consistently provide top notch service over the years •Continuing training and education to upgrade our quality of service for all our customers •By utilizing the continuous support from our community, the word of our excellent services will freely flow throughout the Southwest Region. Our Staff He and I Construction, Inc. is a family-owned and operated business with approximately ten employees, whom are directly related to the company owner. With a total staff of 25 dedicated workers, we are more than capable of completing projects within the time constraints stated in our contracts.

It is possible to repair plaster walls yourself, but it’s not always a good idea. The tool you use to sand plaster will depend on the size of the project. If you’re just working on a small section of your wall to get rid of an uneven spot on the surface, hand-sanding might work. However, for larger projects, a drywall sander can make a huge difference when it comes to both time and elbow grease—and an orbital sander can help for detailed areas such as around ceiling fans.

Although their applications are very similar, no drywall compound and spackle are not the same thing. Spackle is a bit thicker and is used to patch holes as it dries quickly and is easy to sand. Joint compound shrinks a bit more and can be more temperamental to spread. However, one benefit is that you can use joint compound as spackle (for small jobs), but you can’t use spackle as joint compound.
