With over 10 years of insulation experience our team is focused on two things: customer satisfaction and bringing the highest level of knowledge and expertise when it comes to foam insulation. We eat and sleep insulation and our customers will tell you that our insulation systems are not only affordable, but also that the process is quick and hassle-free and they are sure glad they replaced their old insulation. Whether you are looking to renovate your home or office, we are committed to bringing you the best solution that fits your budget and needs. No pushy salesman or trying to sell you something you don’t need. We always look out for our fellow Tulsa neighbors and you can count on Red Dirt to answer your questions honestly and follow up on what they say.

"Andy was great. He came out, on time, gave me an estimate for blown in insulation for my attic. His two workers came out, and actually waited for me for about 15 minutes, while I arrived at the house. They were not upset about having to wait - extremely professional. In about an hour I had my entire attic insulated. I work from home and hardly knew they were there. I would absolutely recommend and hire them again!"

AEPs are interior window insulating panels and can be installed in any building –office, home or industrial. AEPs have a higher insulation and air sealing rating and provide greater comfort than most replacement windows, yet they are a fraction of the cost. AEPs are custom made to fit over existing openings, protecting, preserving and improving your existing windows.

Insulation questions, answered by experts

Mold can grow on garage ceiling insulation, which is why it’s important to install a vapor barrier behind the insulation and keep the space cooled and heated as you would your living area. Doing so will more or less eliminate the risk of mold growing on your garage ceiling insulation. You can also install a self-draining dehumidifier to help remove moisture, or opt for a foam board insulation or spray foam insulation that won’t harbor moisture and mold.

If you’re moving wires, installing new wires, or installing new fixtures in the space you’re insulating, then you will need to hire a licensed electrician to do that portion of the job for you. However, if you just intend on replacing old insulation or adding new insulation over existing insulation, then you don’t need to hire one. Your insulation installer will work around wiring, fixtures, outlets, and switches, even if they’re installing fiberglass batts in the voids where wires run. However, you will need an electrician if you suspect a problem with your wiring during the insulation work.

Insulating a stone house is an expensive and involved process because it requires building a double-walled house. The walls don’t need to be the same thickness, but they both need to be thick enough to handle any structural demands and meet fire and safety standards. The insulation (usually foam or fiberglass) is then installed between the two stone walls.

Insulating under a concrete slab foundation is a great way to improve the energy efficiency of your home, but it isn't necessary for outdoor projects like driveways, patios, sidewalks, and walkways. If you’re pouring in cold weather, insulating under the slab can help prevent heat loss from the concrete, aiding in proper curing. Along with accelerants, this can be a good way to ensure strong concrete despite pouring in the cold.

One of the biggest disadvantages of glass garage doors is that they are not the best at insulating your garage. In the summer, heat can enter through the glass, while in the winter, heat can escape through the glass, increasing your electricity and gas bills as you crank up your HVAC unit. You can help mitigate the poorer insulation by investing in insulated glass and insulating your garage.
