Small jobs welcome

"Mikey Shook and Triple S Construction were hired by me on recommendation from Home Advisor. Mikey showed up when he said he would, gave me a solid estimate, helped me with my building permit. He and his partner framed my carport in one day, and kept me informed daily of the progress of material he was waiting on and when it came in they finished the job in a few hours. They were quick very thorough and professional. I highly recommend Triple S Construction."

"Two guys came and took care of a small project in 30 minutes to an hour. He also said, "What else can I do for you?" I asked him a couple of questions and he said, "Oh, we can do that." So he did some other things that were small, but needed to be done with. He did those and then he said, "Well what else can we do for you?" That was all I could think of. There were two guys. I thought it would be one guy for two hours, but it was two guys that were there a little over an hour. I got done what needed to be done, so I was very pleased. He said, "If you need anything call us back." I didn't have to pay anything more. I had a shelf that was falling in the garage. They did the brace that had broken. So they had to take a lot of heavy boxes off and they replaced that brace and then they also did some other braces to support it. That was actually what I called them out for and they took care of that. The ladder to the garage came down on top of a board that my husband had put there to raise the car up so that it would clear this kerb he had put in. He put in a kerb so that you would know where to stop the car. Then the car couldn't clear the kerb, so he put a board in to raise the car up to clear the kerb. That meant the ladder that came down out of the attic hit that board. My grandson had questioned the strength of the ladder. I had them take out the ladder. It's only good for 200 lbs. That is why a heavy guy might have an issue with it. It wouldn't fit right because of that board. The guy sad, "Well your ladder is fine," and they cut a little square out of the board so that the ladder could go all the way down."

"Had three contractors bid the job, chose AIR Roofing above the others. I was very satisfied with the quality of the materials used, the installation crews attention to detail, the price, responsiveness and overall quality of the job."

"As people who live in Oklahoma know, we get hail storms every year. I have had a new roof on my house 3 times in the last 5 years. After the last storm Stacie from Roca Roofing came by the house. From the start she was nothing by nice to my family. I never felt like she was pushy. She got on the roof and took some pictures for me to see. She was very knowledgeable and even sat in the living room and helped me file my claim. At first I was a little thrown off by a female, but she did things better than any other company I had used in the past. She was there when my insurance company came out and was always making sure I understood everything. My ex husband had always handled all the claims before so this was all very new to me. Stacie never moved on with anything until she was sure that I understood what was going on. She took a lot of time to explain the products to me and we had fun picking out a roof color. The guys that put on the roof did a great job. It looks AWESOME! They were great about cleaning up after themselves! They did break a light on the outside of the house while tearing off the old roof, but Stacie called to let me know what happened and it was replaced 2 days later. Stacie was on site checking in during the installation on the roof and always called me at the end of the day to make sure I was happy with everything. The guy, David that did all the inside work on my house was very nice as well. He did a great job and cleaned up very well. I am hard to please when it comes to my house and I was very happy with all the work that was completed. It was 100 percent painless for me! I highly recommend using Roca Roofing and I would call Stacie for sure!! I cant speak for anyone else there but her, but she was AMAZING!! If I ever have to get a new roof again, I will be calling her back. It is one thing  to have a good sales person, but to get a great sales person and have everyone that did the work be great as well is even better! I honestly can not speak more highly of Stacie and Roca. I have sent several friends and family members to her as well. I think it was nice working with a woman because lets face it, men are just programmed different and she really gets what it takes to keep a woman happy, lol. I wasn't going to do this review, but I got a phone call from her about 2 weeks ago just checking on things and making sure that everything still looked good and that I had not had any issues. You just don't get that with anything anymore these days. I hope that someone reading this will decide to use her. She helped us so much that I hope this review can in some way help her. I don't know how this site works, but if you can ask questions to me and I can answer them, I would be very

"Roger made good suggestions for how to make necessary repairs in the most durable yet cost-efficient manner. He's good at spotting the little things that need attention and getting them taken care of, like the way a builder had not joined a corner with a tight seal. His crew worked efficiently and in a timely manner and the job was done on schedule. They also cleaned up nicely."

"This service was exactly what I was looking for.  I wasn't confident about choosing the new look for my living room.  I wasn't sure what my "style" was, and what would look good together.  I needed a consultant to let me know if the items I was considering would look good together.  Amanda called me and we talked about what I liked/didnt like.  She had me post pictures from Pinterest and Houzz of rooms I liked.  From that she was able to tell me what my style was.  She noticed things I never realized before.  For example I apparently picked the exact style couch in every picture I posted.  As I found furniture I liked I would send her photos and she would let me know if she thought they would go good together.  For example she recomended a different coffee table - i needed one that was more substantial to balance the size of the sofa.  She also helped me fine-tune the paint colors for my walls - I thought this was the hardest part of designing the room, but I love the results.
I was basically looking for someone to guide my choices, but they will also modify their level of service depending on what you need (cost varies depending on service needed).
I would positively use them again!!

Garages questions, answered by experts

For a garage to be included in a home's official square footage, it must qualify as livable space. This generally means it needs to be attached to the home and have permanent finishings like proper insulation, finished walls and ceilings, and adequate ventilation. To be considered livable year-round, it should also have heating and cooling. The specific legal requirements can vary by location, but if a garage is converted into a finished room meeting these criteria, it may be counted toward the total square footage.

Yes, your Wi-Fi network could be to blame if your garage door opener is suddenly experiencing interference. If you can change the frequency of your garage door opener—or Wi-Fi router— this can be a good fix.

You should tune up your garage door at least once per year to keep it running smoothly. However, if you notice signs of wear and tear, it’s wise to get a tune-up every six months. Performing regular tune-ups can help you catch small issues before they turn into serious problems.

While it depends on door condition, the painter’s level of expertise, and weather conditions, it’s safe to set aside two to three days to complete this project, especially if you anticipate adding multiple coats of paint, which can take eight to 12 hours to dry. Your professional should be able to provide an estimate for the project timeline.

You should spray garage door lubricant on its important mechanical parts, including the hinges, rollers, springs, bearing plates, lock, armbar, and, potentially, rail. Do not lube the tracks, though you should clean these regularly for optimal performance.
