He was always on time, communicated well throughout the process, and was very respectful of our space. He kept everything neat and organized while working and made sure to clean up before leaving each day. He even left his floor coverings for us to use while we paint, which was a thoughtful touch. He also finished the job a full day earlier than expected, which was a nice bonus, and even fixed a few areas my husband had attempted before he started. "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

"He did a pretty good job overall. He made a terrible mess and at the end he could not find the can for the color of the paint he used on the walls. He did not find the receipt to find the color out so I could do touch ups and he never could find it. That was the only the bad part of what he did. His texture guy was great. That was probably the best thing about the whole deal. He had a really good texture guy who did the ceiling and did a great job. I would probably not use him again because of the paint thing that did not kind of feel professional. So now if I had to touch up my wall I have to take a hunk out of the wall and have it the color made from there and that’s going to be really irritating to me."
