"The crew did an amazing job removing a problem tree and trimming back another one. They cleaned everything up when they were done as well. I have other trees needing attention so I will definitely be hiring them again in the future."

"Nick took the time to fully understand what I wanted done and explained how I could achieve that while also keeping my tree healthy. His crew was prompt, thorough and very respectful. I will use him again in the future as it is so hard to find people who do what they say they are going to do."

"They arrived on schedule and began work immediately.  They were able to quickly trim the elm tree to our satisfaction.  The willow tree took a little more time due to the proximity of the homes and multiple dead limbs at the top of the tree.  I was pleased with their work, and will definitely use them again.  They are very professional, and know their business well.

"Nathan and his crew were very professional and friendly. They cut down 3 70+ feet trees, left me what I needed for firewood and stacked it, cut the stumps down to nothing, and cleaned up all of the debris. By the time they were finished you couldnâ  t tell they had even been here. They did such an amazing job cleaning up. I will be hiring Nathan and his crew again and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone I know!. Fantastic work ethic and very knowledgeable about his profession. Finally found someone who actually wants to work and cares about customer satisfaction!!!!"

"Very friendly professional on time. Great service. they went out of their way to meet me on their day off for a quote showed up on time. Done exactly what they said they would do cleaned up after their self and at no additional charge taken limbs that I had previously pruned off of other trees. I would highly recommend their services to anyone, and I am getting ready to have them back for another tree removal"

Arborists questions, answered by experts

It’s possible to transplant trees as tall as 50 feet when an experienced tree planting service uses the right equipment. However, a tree with a trunk larger than two or three inches in diameter needs to be handled by a professional in order to yield successful transplanting results. Consulting a tree planting professional is the best way to tell if your large tree can be safely transplanted.

The fastest ways to remove a tree stump are by grinding it or burning it.

Stump grinding is often the quickest method, with professionals able to chip away a stump and its roots within a single session. You have the option to hire a professional stump removal service or rent a stump grinder to do it yourself. However, it's important to note that these machines can be large, difficult to transport, and dangerous to operate without prior experience. For safety reasons, hiring a local arborist or landscape specialist is often recommended.

Burning is another fast option. Before you begin, check your local burn laws. The process involves drilling holes into the stump, filling them with vegetable oil, and waiting 24 to 48 hours. Afterward, you can add charcoal bricks to the surface and light the fire, which must be attended at all times.

For a more affordable but much slower alternative, you can use potassium nitrate pellets to accelerate the natural decomposition process. This method typically takes four to six months.

Signs include dead branches, growth over structures, diseases, pests, or roots impacting hardscapes.

In most cases, your neighbor is responsible for roots from their tree that cause damage to your property. If your pavement, the foundation of your home, or a fence is damaged by roots from a neighbor’s tree, you likely will have legal recourse for financial relief. While it’s better to notify your neighbor of any problems you notice as soon as they arise to avoid costly damage, there are some instances where filing a civil suit is your only recourse. Your homeowner’s insurance company might wish to do so on your behalf if you file a claim.

You can trim just one side of the tree, especially when that side is growing near something like a power line or a home. Pros will carefully trim the tree back until it is safe from that structure. While this is common, it also needs to be done with the utmost care, as pruning or trimming away at one side of the tree may make it structurally unsound. This instance is yet another where hiring a pro is wise, especially if power lines are involved.
