The tree came down in about half a day. Part of the crew stayed to grind the stump, spread dirt, grass seed and hay over the area where the tree had been. The crew was very personable. Even though it isn't something that they'd normally do, they recognized that they could take a grass that is not their proprietary product, however using their proprietary expertise, and make chicken salad out of chicken s#*t! After reaching out to FL after a terrible grass install as indicated above, the owner Jim reached back to me the next day and said he'd have their project manager stop by to have a look. Within a day or two he came by, walked around with me and had a look, then did another walk around on his own taking notes, and within a day or two of that I had a comprehensive plan to make it right in the form of a detailed estimate. As I said, the finished product was fantastic, however just as good as the work was, the people are even better. From the initial call to their customer reception, owner, project manager, and to the crew, everyone was professional, attentive, and truly cared about what they were doing every step of the way. We do everything from mowing, mulch installation, patio design, hardscaping, new bed design, spring cleanups, planting, sprinkler repair/installation to lawn maintenance. "Tricolor charged 3 times what the original estimate was. They removed two stumps and filled areas with soil and added seed. Both areas sunk down 8 inches over a few months. I called them twice and they were supposed to get back to me to look at it but I never heard back. I had the job redone by Perfect Touch Landscaping. Tricolor should have packed the soil at the time but didn't, therefore, the areas probably sank because of the tree root gaps below. Tricolor should have known that and added extra soil. They should have at least, returned my calls or come back out to add soil and reseed. They're nice people but I believe they are inexperienced in some areas. They did a good job of cleaning out the landscaped areas. I just wish Francisco would have"
